About me

I love travel as I love to explore new places, experience their culture and way of life in these destinations, which is why I studied and now work in travel. There are huge benefits within this job, along with helping other people create their dream holidays and adventures.

I love my role because no two days are the same. There is always something new to learn and new challenges to take on. Everyone you meet is so friendly and nothing is ever too much! Teamwork is rooted deep in what we do and how we operate.

Most stand-out client experiences

One stand-out memory I have is adding a special touch to a client’s holiday by organising a gift. After our Product and Travel Relationship Manager, Denise, expressed wanting to send the client a gift to mark the occasion of their first cruise, I took creative control. I ordered the clients a personalised cruise map, with each point of call for their holiday. They were so happy with this gift, and we received lovely feedback saying so.

My most memorable travel experience

Out of the many places I have visited, I would say Jamaica is one of my favourites. The views, the people and everything in between was what made my time there most enjoyable. My top memories from this holiday were my dad getting married and visiting the town Bob Marley grew up in.

Berlin, Germany was also an incredible holiday. The city is drenched in culture and history – and, there is something interesting at every turn you make. From historic monuments and street art to German restaurants, there’s nothing quite like it.

I ensure I listen to each individual requirement to make sure your holiday is extra special. I look and listen for the small details to build upon, helping me create an unforgettable experience. I am a huge advocate for ‘nothing is impossible’, and in my opinion, ‘no’ isn’t an option! There’s always a way to get things done. I am never far from contact, whether it be an email or over the phone, having regular contact with clients is key for me.

  • Be prepared! Get things booked and confirmed way in advance, especially during peak seasons
  • Share your thoughts – We want to hear all feedback, positive or negative as it’s important to ourselves and suppliers
  • Give back to the local communities. We are visiting people’s homes and lively hoods, so be sure to explore, eat out and shop locally – plus, you get the best authentic experience!
