About me

I always knew I wanted to work in the travel industry from a young age, especially after completing a travel and tourism course in college after leaving school. In my early days in the industry, I was fortunate enough to work for a high street travel agency, and worked my way up to manage the store.

Progressing in my career, I was pleased to get a position at Inspiring Travel in 2010, working in sales for a long time before moving on to the client services team, where I work now as the Client Services Team Leader - I love my team and the company’s values! The role is so varied, and I enjoy training the team and getting involved with new company procedures to make a difference to the company and the team.

My most memorable travel experience

During my career, I have been lucky enough to travel to a lots of destinations including the Maldives, Dubai, Mauritius, the Caribbean and most of Europe. One of my favourite destinations has to be Barbados, where I have travelled to 8 times! I love the culture, the people, and the nightlife. One of my favourite memories is the day I spent on the catamaran, drinking rum, and swimming with the baby turtles and stopping off for a barbecue on the beach.

Whist the team are creating wonderful experiences for our clients I am always on hand to help make recommendations for the clients to make sure the client has the best time with us on holiday.

Top tips

• Go to a local beach shack to see the sunset and drink with the locals. Pick up some tips where is best to visit or eat.
• Make sure you try the local cuisine.
