At the manor, you’ll stay in the luxury Plain Room with full board and local beverages included. Overlooking the incredible Shamwari plains, this exquisite lodge features Edwardian-style suites and an elegant rim-flow pool. While here, you’ll come across free-roaming wildlife during daily game activities twice a day and create unforgettable memories on your way to the Oceania Nautica.
Following an internal flight from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town with transfers, you’ll spend an additional two nights at Le Quartier Francais. This elegant hotel in Franschhoek features an array of sophisticated suites, including the Auberge Room where you’ll get to enjoy bed & breakfast. Between relaxing and fine dining, explore the village’s unique galleries and antique shops.
After your first five pre-cruise nights, you’ll transfer to Cape Town and spend the next two nights on a pre-cruise before 11 nights exploring the picturesque sights and sounds of South Africa’s coastline.
Cape Town will present breathtaking views, gorgeous weather, and amazing activities to complete during your luxury cruise tour. This wonderful city is home to the ever-fascinating South African Museum, Planetarium and St. George’s Cathedral. After learning about the incredible culture, enjoy ocean or mountain views along with authentic Cape Malay cuisine at The Table Bay hotel.
Continue your mini adventure of the South African capital by strolling down the beautiful Boulders Beach or shop along Kalk Bay for unusual knick-knacks. Then embark the Oceania Nautica – a luxury cruise ship built in 1999, refurbished for 2018. Blending sophistication with a contemporary flair, it has an elegant ambiance that embodies the most treasured elements of Oceania’s celebrated ships.

For an afternoon in the sun, Walvis Bay Waterfront provides its golden sands and blue waters for you to enjoy.
Head back to the Atlantic Ocean and spend another day relaxing on the way to your next destination. The luxury Aquamar Spa + Vitality Centre offers a wide array of programmes, services and experiences while entertainers will provide high-energy productions.
Continuing your cruise around this captivating coastline, enjoying the natural beauty of Good Hope while taking in the glorious South African heat. The rocky headland, discovered in 1488 by Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias, is the perfect setting for afternoon tea aboard the Nautica.
After touchdown in Port Elizabeth, why not explore ‘The Friendly City’ and its amazing wildlife sanctuaries? The local fauna, including rhino and buffalo, provide incredible game viewing opportunities while Bayworld, a fascinating cultural history museum, is home to a unique Snake Park and Oceanarium. South Africa’s oldest bowling green can also be found here for a leisurely game.
Following an easterly journey from Gqeberha, you’ll anchor in Durban where you can stroll down the gorgeous five-mile promenade. The Juma Masjid is a magnificent mosque worth visiting for being the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere and the Golden Mile beach is ideal for sunbathing. Marvel at the impressive British colonial architecture on display and learn about its rich history.
On your second day in Durban, consider visiting uShaka Marine World for a fun-filled adventure or explore refreshing cocktail bars dotted around the city. After experiencing a host of activities and entertainment, enjoy a tasty meal at a fine dining restaurant in downtown Durban. Before moving on, discover a vast collection of cycads, palms, and orchids at Durban Botanic Gardens.
A popular port perfect for kitesurfing, Richards Bay provides breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean via Alkantstrand Beach. If you’re lucky enough, you may even catch a glimpse of the elusive dolphin and whale species living in the depths of the surrounding waters. Not only that, but the nearby game reserves featuring pink-backed pelicans make an excellent excursion during your relaxing day trip.
Now you’ve hit the furthest point of your journey, it’s time to head back to where it all started! Cruise the Indian Ocean and enjoy the Nautica’s wide array of luxury facilities. Feeling lucky? Test your fortunes in the casino. Need to freshen up your wardrobe? Shop at the onboard boutique.
