Itinerary

Fly from the UK to Barbados and take a private transfer to your hotel, for a two-night pre-cruise stay.
Enjoy a magical mixture of colonial history, colourful traditions and soft white sand beaches. Take part in sun-soaked aquatic activities and sample local delicacies like succulent flying fish and Mount Gay rum.
Take a private transfer to the port in Bridgetown where you’ll board Oceania Sirena, complete with superb gourmet restaurants, an atmospheric casino, a spa and a saltwater pool with two Jacuzzis. Get settled into your ocean view stateroom and enjoy life on the high seas.
You’ll dock in Scarborough, Tobago’s capital. Explore the wonderful Buccoo Reef by glass-bottom boat or snorkel in shallow waters to get up-close with colourful fish and coral. Discover the island and its historic forts, botanical gardens, markets, and museums. Accompanied by a naturalist guide, stroll through the island's tropical rainforest to reach cascading waterfalls.
Spend the next two days cruising the Atlantic Ocean and making the most of everything that Oceania Sirena has to offer. Relax on the sparkling pool deck looking out onto endless blue ocean whilst sipping your favourite cocktail from Waves Bar – bliss. In the evening, catch one of the live onboard shows or try your luck at the casino.
Set sail across another stretch of water, this time the Amazon River. Enjoy an engaging talk by a Guest Speaker that may be a historian, naturalist, or former ambassador eager, or curl up with a good book in the cosy library. Outside, breathe in the fresh sea air with a few laps on the running track and look out for an array of wildlife along the riverbank.
Visit Santarém’s Cathedral and Town Hall Museum, then experience the intricate ecosystem of the Amazon and the famous “Meeting of the Waters” on a riverboat towards Maica Lake. As you witness the Tapajos and Amazon rivers running alongside each other, keep an eye out for rare Amazon River dolphins, also called Boto or pink river dolphins. On land, explore primal rainforests to see birds, monkeys, sloths and other wildlife.
Boca da Valeria is a tiny village at the mouth of the Valeria River in north-central Brazil. Go ashore and wander through this isolated settlement, where thousands of indigenous people reside along the waterways. Meet the residents and see more animal life, such as colourful parrots, sloths, and monkeys.
Spend the next two days in and around Manaus, the Amazon’s largest city known as the “Paris of the Tropics”. Visit the famed 1896 Manaus Opera House, learn about the region’s indigenous inhabitants at the Indian Museum or embark on a fascinating jungle trek and pick up some survival tips. Another interesting visit is the Military Zoo, a safe refuge for indigenous wildlife rescued from hunters and traffickers.
Visit this isolated island town steeped in Indian culture, on the Amazon River. During a half day tour, take your seat in its stadium which has become the focus of the Boi Bumba Festival, an annual event similar to Carnival. Witness an exclusive performance of this Amazonian folklore story with loud music, rhythmic dancing and brilliant costumes.
The beach resort of Alter Do Chao is home to Ilha do Amor, one of the most photographed white-sand islands in the world. Climb up to the Morro de Cruzeiro viewpoint for breathtaking views of the Tapajo´s River, Lago Verde and the Amazon rainforest. You can also explore Lago Verde on a canoe to spot monkeys, macaws, agoutis and armadillos.
Sail back across the Amazon River towards the Caribbean. Savour rejuvenating treatments and healing therapies on board at Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center and practice your swing at the 9-hole putting green. Then, relax in your exquisitely appointed 165-square-foot stateroom complete with a comfortable seating area and refrigerated mini-bar.
Spend the day cruising the Atlantic Ocean and make the most of everything that Oceania Sirena has to offer. There’s a remarkable array of culinary options, spearheaded by master chef, Jacques Pépin. The Oceania fleet boasts the Finest Cuisine at Sea®, from fine dining at the decadent Grand Dining Room to feasting on Floridian lobster at Waves Grill.
Lying around seven miles off the coast of French Guiana, you'll sail by the infamous French penal colony of Devil's Island. Go ashore to Ile Royale, once the headquarters of the prison commandant, and explore the eerily empty original buildings. Watch for the wild macaws that have repopulated the islands and study ocean-fed pools to see leatherback turtles.
Spend the day cruising the Atlantic Ocean and make the most of your on-board amenities.
Blending Georgian architecture and exotic spice markets with sun-kissed soft sands and luscious rainforest, St. George’s has to be seen to be believed. A tour of the many spice estates in Grenada is almost mandatory, with the scents of nutmeg and cinnamon floating in the air. Visit a distillery to see how the island’s sugarcane juice is first turned into syrup and then into rum.
Îles des Saintes comprises eight small islands, of which only two are inhabited. Whether your agenda consists of seeing a specific sight like Fort Napoléon, getting active on a hike, or taking a stroll to a local café, you’ll be able to soak up a truly laid-back atmosphere. Go scuba diving in the crystal-clear waters, shop for souvenirs or simply laze on the sand, wonderfully cooled by the balmy breezes of the Caribbean.
Anchor in beautiful Rodney Bay and enjoy the vibrant local bars and stunning marina, where there are plenty of watersports. The lush tropical island of St Lucia offers numerous adventures – from hikes to Pigeon Island, to visiting the island’s ‘drive-in’ volcano at Soufriere. We recommend a ride on the Aerial Tram up to an ecological park in the heights of St Lucia’s Forest reserve, for panoramic vistas of the island.
Arrive back into the stunning port of Bridgetown and disembark Oceania Sirena. Enjoy one final taste of vibrant Caribbean living before your overnight flight back to the UK.
