Cross over the gorgeous Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound fjords on your way to Bluff, the southernmost town in New Zealand. From here, discover the Scottish origins of Dunedin before relaxing on the beautiful beachfront in in Timaru. Arrive in Sydney just in time to celebrate the New Year; transfer to the luxury Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour for a five-night pre-cruise stay and enjoy spectacular skyline views from your infinity pool.
In-between your stay, enjoy a private tour of the Blue Mountains. From soaring sandstone ridges to lush valleys and rugged rock formations, this iconic World Heritage region is the perfect day trip.
Today, you’re free to explore the city. Sydney is home to iconic landmarks, from the Opera House to Bondi Beach, and incredible wildlife sanctuaries alongside countless world-renowned restaurants.
Transfer to the port and embark the luxury Silver Nova. During the evening, you’ll depart for the next destination on your journey. So, make use of the all-inclusive facilities available to you.
Relax in the uber-luxury surroundings of this stunning cruise ship. Whether you need a soothing spa session or hope to spot whales while lounging on the deck, you have all the time in the world.
Arrive in the metropolitan city of Melbourne and enjoy the next two days soaking in its fine dining establishments, art galleries and vineyards. Vibrant rooftop bars spring to life as the sun sets while open air stadiums fill with the sound of music. On the first day, you’re invited to experience one of 14 unique shore excursions and 12 on the second. You can visit some of Australia’s premiere wildlife reserves, go golfing on championship courses or even enjoy an aboriginal walking tour.
Spend the following day at sea. During this time, you can top up on your tan in the glorious Australia sunshine or indulge in an interactive dining experience at the one-of-a-kind S.A.L.T. Chef’s Table.
Scale the slopes of Mount Wellington, observe wild Tasmanian devils at nearby animal sanctuaries and sample a refreshing ale poured from a local brewery during an unforgettable day trip to Hobart. There are 14 shore excursions you can book, from Port Arthur Discovery to Hobart Storyteller Walk.
After your adventures in Australia, it’s time to cross over to New Zealand. While at sea for two days, you’re welcome to discover new games at the casino or explore the boutiques at your own leisure.
Wake up early to the wonderful sight of an awe-inspiring fjord. Milford Sound comprises several impressive waterfalls, dense rainforests and steep cliffs home to beautiful flora and fauna.
Head towards an equally gorgeous fjord in Doubtful Sound. For the next few hours, you’ll float through the silent waterways and have the opportunity to spot the resident bottlenose dolphins.
Back on land, you’re free to stretch your legs in Bluff – the southernmost town in New Zealand. Savour the taste of the delicious Bluff oysters, which are reputed to be the best in the world, and consider taking a day trip to Stewart Island. Throughout your experience, there are nine shore excursions on offer like the unique tour of Bill Richardson's Transport World and Motorcycle Mecca.
Travel to Dunedin overnight and discover its proud Scottish origins. Gothic architecture, elegant statues and glowing gardens litter the landscapes of this cosmopolitan city. Explore hidden walkways and spot an abundance of sea lions and seals. Also available are nine shore excursions to book.
Between Christchurch and Dunedin is the beautiful South Island city, Timaru. Listen to the gentle waves lapping up the beachfront’s soft sands or visit the pocket-sized lighthouse. Alternatively, enjoy one of nine shore excursions, such as Timaru Discovery Walk or Alps-to-Ocean Bicycle Trail.
This next day allows you to unwind while cruising along the glistening blue sea. Break away at the peaceful Panorama Lounge or keep fit at the onboard fitness centre to refresh and rejuvenate.
A vibrant and energetic seaside capital, Wellington is the perfect destination for immersing yourself in New Zealand’s diverse culture and traditions. The host of trendy cafés and revered wineries ensure a pleasant day trip while the botanical gardens make for a relaxing jaunt during your journey. Enjoy one of 11 shore excursions, including a visit to the locations and settings of Lord of the Rings.
Wander through stylish streets and observe the world’s largest mainland gannet colonies in Napier. The gorgeous Mediterranean-style climate is ideal for a gentle hike up to Bluff Hill or walk along the two-mile seafront. Additionally, you’re invited to experience one of the nine shore excursions.
For your final day at sea, explore the remaining luxury facilities. From the Dusk Bar to the Arts Café and S.A.L.T. Kitchen, the Silver Nova provides an entirely different option for every occasion.
