Discover an enchanting mixture of famous ports and hidden gems as you cruise from Italy, heading up the Ionian Sea along the stunning coast of Croatia and over to Trieste. Regent Seven Seas has a reputation for the finest ships, greatest itineraries and most exciting excursions. Aboard Seven Seas Voyager you'll enjoy all of this and more.

The first leg of your journey departs from the historic shores of Rome, before taking in the highlights of the beautiful Amalfi coast and the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Sicily. You'll then discover the beauty and beaches of Corfu before arriving in lesser-known European gems, including Tirana in Alabania and Kotor in Montenegro. Here, you'll be able to stroll the scenic waterfronts and taverns, browse the handcraft shops and explore the ancient walled city. As you reach the shores of Croatia, you'll get to admire the picturesque island of Korcula with its sweeping ocean views, before continuing to Zadar, home to Plitvice National Park, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, conclude your cruise in Trieste, where you'll soak in the beautiful medieval architecture before departing home.

Day 1 2 Oct 2022 – Fly UK to Rome, Italy

Fly from the UK to historic Rome and embark Regent Seven Seas Explorer. Managing to effortlessly blend the past and present, here you can explore the enchanting Sistine Chapel, breathtaking Trevi Fountain, and the ancient Coliseum. Then, take a tour of the imposing remains of the Imperial Palaces and the Circus Maximus.

Day 2 3 October – Amalfi and Positano, Italy

The Italian coast is home to some of the most luxuriously cool and chic destinations in Europe. Discover a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere amongst 11th century architecture in Amalfi, and fresh seafood and pasta, or tempting pastries and espresso, in a spectacular seaside setting in Positano.

Day 3 4 October – Sicily, Italy

Sicily's port of Catania has been beautifully restored to its former grandeur after a 17th century earthquake destroyed much of the original settlement. Modern Catania is like a time machine that takes you back to a world of ancient churches, castles, amphitheatres and lush gardens with beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Sites to explore.

Day 4 5 October – Corfu, Greece

Legendary Corfu is an enchanting mixture of cosmopolitan amenities and time-honoured Greek traditions. Written about by Homer in his famous Odyssey, here you'll discover a stunning countryside, picturesque villages and some of the best beaches in Greece.

Day 5 6 October – Tirana, Albania

Tirana, Albania

The ancient port of Durres still has an air of mystery that stems from its fascinating history, while the new resort coastline ensures that you can enjoy Albania in luxurious surroundings. Discover a stunning waterfront and explore the remains of the public baths, the aqueduct and the largest Roman amphitheatre in the Balkans.

Day 6 7 October – Kotor, Montenegro

Kotor is a coastal town in Montenegro, located in a most secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. The old port is a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by an impressive ancient city wall - walk the walls to enjoy incredible views. The buzzing nightlife of Kotor is also a draw, with a host of pubs, taverns, cafes, and nightclubs to enjoy.

Day 7 8 October – Korcula, Croatia

Korcula is the birthplace of Marco Polo and one of Croatia’s most picturesque islands, but somehow remains one of its least visited. Korcula is packed with luscious vineyards, picturesque villages and magical ocean views for you to enjoy in peace. Sun-worshipers will also want to embark on a journey across the Peljeski Channel to unwind on the stunning beaches.

Day 8 9 October – Zadar, Croatia

Throughout history, Zadar has been ruled by Romans, Ostrogoths, and Byzantium. The result is an enchanting patchwork of classical architecture and engaging history. Found on the beautiful Dalmatian Coast, you'll also discover a variety of stunning natural landscapes including Plitvice National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 9-10 10-11 October – Trieste, Italy

Arrive in wonderfully picturesque Trieste, a port city in northeastern Italy. From the famed medieval architecture and historically significant sights including the fairytale Miramare Castle, to incredible designer boutiques and guided walking tours past iconic café-strewn squares, this is a city that everyone will enjoy.

Day 10-12 11-13 October - Two Night Hotel Stay in Venice

Enjoy two nights in Venice at Hotel Danieli, a Luxury Collection Hotel, with breakfast in a Premium Deluxe Room. Just a few steps away from the iconic sights of Piazza San Marco and its Basilica, as well as the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, it's easy to see why the hotel is such a favoured location amongst discerning guests.

Day 12 13 October - Return to the UK
