Take in the majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's oldest and most attractive, with majestic views crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust" which attracts herds of elephants to the dried-up Lake Amboseli. The diverse habitats provide homes to wildlife that roams freely from the savannahs to the woodlands and to the emerald-green wetlands.
Highlights of Amboseli include over 400 species of birds as well as resident lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, giraffes and buffalos. Climb Observation Hill summit with rewardable 360 degrees panoramic views of the entire park, with Kilimanjaro to the south and the swamps to the east.
