Equinox is famously a boundary-pushing fitness brand, and their luxury hotel in Hudson Yards, New York, lives up to this reputation; and then some.

Equinox Hotel Hudson Yards is equipped with an exceptional fitness club, where you can easily spend hours on solo workouts, group classes (yoga and barre among them), personal training sessions and laps in the indoor pool.

You could also succumb to a soothing spa treatment, dips in the hot and cold plunge pools, or head outdoors to the pool deck for some well-deserved R&R.

There’s more though, as Equinox extend their wellbeing mantra to the guestrooms.

These dimly lit, serene abodes have been designed to block out distractions: the walls are soundproof, there are blackout blinds, and the beds are cloudlike. You even get mindfulness rituals for every morning and evening accessed via an in-room tablet, and yoga instructions loaded on the TV plus a mat, block and band to use too.

Additionally, part of the Equinox Hotel Hudson Yards experience is the sublime view: of New York’s skyline, the Hudson River and the impressive Vessel sculpture right on the hotel’s doorstep.

There’s personal training, group classes (from HIIT to barre), and a 25-yard indoor saltwater pool with hot and cold plunge pools to soothe your muscles. A spa and after-hours training studio E by Equinox also make this an exceptional fitness centre in New York. What’s more, the hotel serves up glorious city views from the outdoor pool, surrounded by daybeds; although this area is more about relaxation than adrenalin-pumping workouts.
