Experience the joyfulness of South America on a voyage north from Buenos Aires to Rio De Janeiro, exploring the beautiful east coasts of Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.

Cruising on the Oceania Marina, you'll spend your time at sea enjoying a wonderful array of amenities, including bars, restaurants, live music, casino, pool, Aquamar spa, padel court, putting green and a running track.

Included in your cruise holiday is a luxury pre-cruise stay at the Alvear Art Hotel in Buenos Aires, a two-night post-cruise stay in a Belmond Hotel on the Brazil-Argentina border, overseas private transfers, return economy flights from London Heathrow and a full-day tour of Iguazu Falls.

Itinerary

Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires and check into your hotel for a one-night stay at the Alvear Art Hotel with breakfast included. Relax and unwind in preparation for your upcoming cruise.
Spend a leisurely morning in Buenos Aires before taking a private transfer to the port to embark Oceania Marina for your 10-night full-board stay. Tonight, you'll cruise to Uruguay.
Montevideo
Arrive in Montevideo in the morning and set out to explore this charming, cosmopolitan city of parks and colonial architecture. Choose to visit a local vineyard and sample its wines, or travel to the beautiful Portuguese colonial city of Colonia del Sacramento, first settled in 1680. Cruise overnight to Punta Del Este.
Punta del Este
Arrive in Punta Del Este in the morning and spend the day enjoying this beautiful, chic beach resort, and potter around its marinas and interesting shops. Marvel at the amazing works of Salvador Dalí, Marc Chagall and Joan Míró at the Ralli Museum, or venture into the equally stunning countryside and visit a cattle station. Tonight, you'll begin your voyage to Brazil.
As you cruise the open water to Brazil, take advantage of the wonderful amenities and experiences available onboard the Oceania Marina. Learn to prepare a variety of exquisite dishes in The Culinary Centre, sample fine vintages with a wine tasting experience, or embrace your inner artist in the Artist Loft's art classes. In the evening, unwind in the refined atmosphere of elegant Grand Dining Room with delicately prepared cuisine, or simply lose yourself in deep relaxation with one of Aquamar Spa + Vitality Centera signature treatments.
Itajai
Wake up on the waters of Itajai. Venture onto terra firma to experience the trails in the Atlantic Forest above Camboriu, reached by cable car, and then spend time on the pristine beach below. Or, enjoy a drive through the lush farmland to the old German settlements and visit a glass-blowing factory where local sands are turned into exquisite works of art. This evening, you'll cruise onto Sao Paulo.
Santos
Wake up to beautiful views of Sao Paulo's modern skyscrapers lining its stunning city shoreline. Explore charming Santos through art museums and historic monuments and visit its extraordinary botanical garden to see an orchidarium with over 100 flower species and an aviary alive with macaws, toucans and parrots. Or, take a scenic drive to Guaruja and visit the resort town's fascinating aquarium.
Parati
Spend your day savouring this gem of a historic town with its beautifully preserved Portuguese colonial architecture, charming narrow streets, imposing fort and exquisite churches. Enjoy a leisurely schooner cruise through this group of lush islands past quaint fishing villages and pristine beaches, and make sure to stop at one of the many gorgeous beaches to swim, snorkel or just relax.
Ilha Grande
Wake up in Ilha Grande's virgin paradise and enjoy hiking its trails, kayaking, snorkelling, diving to spectacular sites or simply relaxing on its stunning beaches. Explore the dense tropical forest to discover its diversity of birds, flowers, iguanas, monkeys and the myriad wildlife found in this protected reserve.
Buzios
Considered the St. Tropez of Brazil, Buzios boasts a cosmopolitan style reminiscent of the French Riviera. Sunbathe at one of the twenty crystal-water beaches, or opt for an active day of horseriding, fishing, diving or sightseeing on a catamaran cruise. Explore the Emerências Reserve on a walking tour to discover exotic plants, bromeliads and even the last golden lion tamarin monkeys in the region. Or choose to explore the Tauá Reserve and see more than 300 species of butterflies and 60 types of birds.
Rio de Janeiro
Iconic views of Christ the Redeemer will welcome you as you arrive on the sun-soaked shores of Rio De Janeiro. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain for its renowned view. Ride the cog railway through dense forest to Corcovado. Visit the lush botanical gardens, see famed Ipanema and Copacabana beaches and take in a thrilling samba show.
Iguazu Falls
Disembark the Oceania Marina in the morning and take a private transfer to the airport. Fly to Iguazu Falls for your two-night post-cruise stay at Belmond Iguazu Falls with breakfast included.
Iguazu Falls
Explore the Argentinian side of the Iguazu Falls on a full-day tour. Adventure on the extensive walking trails, including the Upper and Lower circuits and the famous Devil's Throat, and marvel at panoramic views of these incredible natural waterfalls.
