Lemons have been cultivated in the Amalfi Territory since medieval times, the area offers the perfect combination of porous soil, warm sea breezes and protected by the cold northern wind by mountains. You will visit an authentic lemon farm, owned, and operated by the same family for six generations. A tour of the farm will take you along the sun-drenched terraced lemon groves while you take in the spectacular mountain views and learn about the sfusato amalfitano, a thick-skinned lemon unique to the region and more than twice the size of any other lemon. The tour is followed by a hands-on private cookery class. Learn the age-old techniques and recipes of dishes typical to the Campania Region. Create simply yet delicious dishes which you will get to enjoy for lunch at the end of your class. Wash your lunch down with some of the farm’s own chilled Limoncello or local Italian wine.
