Hotel information
Sea Dragon is located on the southeast coast of Kangaroo Island, off the mainland of South Australia. Perched atop a secluded cliff, this boutique, hotel overlooks the pristine coastline and the azure waters of the Southern Ocean, offering glorious views and guaranteed wildlife sightings.
The nearby beach is reserved for hotel guests, allowing your complete privacy. Sunset drinks by the beach and beach picnics are yours to enjoy undisturbed, save only the odd kangaroo. Wallabies, echidnas, goannas and pods of dolphins are among the other magnificent creatures you might see during your stay. May to September is the time to visit to see whales! Over half of the hotel’s 250 acres is a designated area of heritage protection for the island’s flora and fauna, so plant and bird lovers will find joy here too.

Each villa is equipped with modern amenities, private balconies, and spa baths, creating an intimate sanctuary within the island's embrace.
The lodge's surroundings come alive with diverse wildlife, allowing you to witness kangaroos, wallabies, and a myriad of bird species up close. Nature walks and hiking trails unveil the island's rich biodiversity, while the coastline beckons with opportunities for beachcombing and dolphin watching.
With a focus on sustainability, the hotel offers a farm-to-table dining experience, showcasing the island's finest produce and seafood. Savuor gourmet meals while taking in the mesmerising sunset vistas.
The Two Night and Experience package includes a day and a half of small group touring, one full-day nature tour of Seal Bay and Flinders Chase National Park, and a half-day Taste of Kangaroo Island Tour.
