Full accommodation information

A stylish escape on a 700 hectare estate, you’ll be impressed by the personal service and attention to detail at the Plettenberg Bay hotel.

As well suited to couples looking for a South African honeymoon retreat as families searching for a place to unwind, there’s plenty to see and do here. Family suites have loft rooms for children and dining will be enjoyed by all with specialist kids’ menus for younger guests and two elegant dining options for adults. A spa, tennis, quad bikes and horse riding ensure plenty to keep you busy in the day, with an abundance of activities close by including golf, whale watching and wine tasting. Polo instruction can also be organised on the estate, which is synonymous with the sport having held numerous international events here.

With nearby beaches at Nature’s Valley and year-round warmer temperatures due to its proximity to the Indian Ocean, Kurland is the best of both worlds; coast and countryside. The boutique hotel has just 12 suites, giving it an intimate, personal feel.
