This short-break holiday to Iceland is a great introduction to this fascinating destination and includes all the key attractions in the southern region of the island. This Iceland holiday is available year-round and includes a full day SuperJeeps tour of Iceland’s Golden Circle, visiting highlights such as Gullfoss Geysir and Waterfall, UNESCO listed Thingvellir National Park and Langjokull Glacier. Free time is available to explore the vibrant streets of Reykjavik, while in the summer we include a whale and puffin cruise and in the winter months a whale watching and Northern Lights cruise.

Itinerary

Day 1 Fly to Reykjavik

Take a direct flight from the UK to Keflavik International Airport. On your arrival you will be transferred to your Reykjavik Hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore, or sample some of the unique Icelandic cuisine.

Day 2 Whale Watching and Puffin Adventure (Summer) Whale Watching and Northern Lights (Winter)

Puffins can be found on the islands dotted around the harbour and coastline between mid-May to mid-August and this forms the first part of your tour. You will then head further out in search of whales, if lucky you may spot humpback whales, minke whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises. During the winter months you will enjoy a Whale Watching and Northern Lights cruise.

Day 3 Full day SuperJeeps Golden Circle and Langjokull Glacier Tour

Join a full day SuperJeeps adventure, leaving the city of Reykjavik behind and heading South to see Iceland’s unique and spectacular natural wilderness. Visit the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park, magnificent sights such as Strokkur Geysir and the breath-taking and mighty Gullfoss Falls.
