I'm here to tailor-make your perfect Europe holiday. Give me a call and I'll use my expertise to create your personalised experience.

Western Sicily is a little-explored nook of Mediterranean Europe that has a history, culture and landscape that is born for a touring holiday. Closer to the picturesque image of traditional Sicily than anywhere else on the island, expect rustic bliss and less tourists to share the scenery with.

An incredibly close proximity to Africa has given western Sicily a unique cultural flair influenced by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Normans, Spanish, and then finally the Italians, so expect stunning architecture and tantalizing cuisine that fuses a range of cultural flavours. This region of the island is also famous for its wine and olive oil, and the picturesque countryside is littered with vineyards just waiting to be explored.

With magnificent countryside, breathtaking history and picturesque coastline, all coming alongside shopping, architecture, and delicious dining in bustling cities like Palermo, Western Sicily is the perfect destination for a tour. Whichever way you want to experience this unique European jewel, our Travel Specialists are on hand to tailor-make every aspect of your tour to Western Sicily.

Arrive at Palermo Airport and private transfer to your accommodation. Then, set out on a guided walking tour of the narrow streets and charming markets of Palermo. Discover the puppet tradition and meet a local ‘puparo’ (artisan that makes puppets) amongst other authentic craftsmen.
Enjoy an exclusive visit to the historic Alliata di Pietratagliata and meet the Princess. Tour her stunning home and hear stories of the family history while sipping coffee and eating Sicilian pastries. Then, travel to nearby Monreale and visit its famous cathedral.
After a leisurely breakfast in Palermo, travel to Sciacca to visit an oil mill where the famous Sicilian extra virgin olive oil is produced and get a tasting of this precious nectar. Then, enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants with unforgettable sea views.
In the morning, in the company of an expert archaeologist, set out on a private guided tour of the Valley of the Temples. Founded in 582 BC by Greek settlers, the town was described by the Greek poet Pindar as “the most beautiful of those inhabited by mortals”.
Private transfer to Palermo Airport for your return flight.
