Itinerary

Day 1 UK – Nairobi

Board your overnight flight to Kenya.

Day 2 Nairobi – Masai Mara

After arriving at Nairobi airport transfer to the city’s domestic airport and board your flight bound for the Masai Mara. On the way to the Kicheche Valley Camp enjoy game-viewing. The camp has an intimate atmosphere and comprises six raised tents each with an en suite bathroom.

Day 3 Kicheche Valley Camp

The camp is set within the Mara Naboisho conservancy and as such offers guests great wildlife-spotting opportunities. Spend today exploring the areas around the camp; there are only a certain number of visitors allowed into the conservancy at any one time, so you will be guaranteed an authentic experience.

Day 4 Kicheche Valley Camp

Another day for exploring the area. A variety of experiences and excursions can be arranged, including early morning walks through the bush, morning and evening game drives, visits to local villages and hot air balloon trips. For a more relaxed day, the camp’s spa therapist provides soothing massages and treatments.

Day 5 Nairobi – Zanzibar

Enjoy a final game drive before transferring to Nairobi for your flight to Zanzibar. Tonight check into The Residence Zanzibar, a beautifully romantic villa resort set on a pristine stretch of beach.

Day 6 Zanzibar

The Residence Zanzibar is a luxurious resort with 66 spacious villas, each with a private deck and daybed. Enjoy a dip in your private plunge pool, stroll around the manicured resort grounds, or hop on one of the provided bicycles for a tour around the lush gardens and beachfront.

You have the next six days to enjoy Zanzibar. Spend your time reclining on the beach, enjoying watersports in the sparkling waters or tour the local area.

Your Travel Specialist will be happy to recommend and arrange several excursions and day trips for you in Zanzibar. A trip to Stone Town or even further inland is a great option to vary your stay here.

Zanzibar’s beaches are versatile – visitors can sunbathe and lounge on the soft sand, paddle in the waters lapping the shore or explore further out to sea. Snorkelling, fishing and diving are all available for guests, and boat shuttles can be arranged for exploring more of Zanzibar.

Another chance to explore Zanzibar. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to the Jozani Forest Reserve, where visitors can spot birds, butterflies and the endemic Red Colobus monkey.
