When it comes to swimming pools, you really are spoilt for choice. There’s a secluded adults-only pool, two family-friendly pools and a beachfront pool, which overlooks the enticing Caribbean Sea. Antigua’s only 18-hole PGA rated par 69 golf course, Cedar Valley Golf Club, is just three miles away from the resort – perfect for a leisurely day out in the sun. Blue Waters start their sustainability initiative upon check-in. Here, you are provided with a free water bottle, which you can refill at the water stations throughout the hotel and take home for future use. This is in addition to their organic, sustainable toiletries ‘Neem Avenue’, which is used instead of the previous single-use plastic amenities at the hotel.
Throughout the resort, solar energy is used to power the lights, while many eco-friendly brands and gift items in the gift shop have been introduced to improve their sustainability efforts. As a top priority, all building materials are recycled, and food waste is given to local farmers for animal feed.
