Set amidst a beautiful and tranquil garden of trees and herbs close to the entrance of the Periyar Game Reserve lies Spice Village. It is a wonderful choice for those who enjoy being around nature.
Guest rooms are housed in spacious cottages inspired by the dwellings of the native tribesman of Periyar. There are no televisions and air conditioning in your room which has a classic simple style with wood craft furniture and a private porch.
Facilities include a swimming pool, Tiffin Room restaurant serving buffet style Indian and international cuisine an Ayurvedic centre. All food comes from a 50 mile radius. There is also a bar, the former home of a forest ranger, and a Tiger Club room filled with maps and books.
