On its own private concession, Khwai River Lodge, A Belmond Safari, Botswana borders the Moremi Game Reserve, affording guests the opportunity to take part in night drives as well as guided safari walks.

The Moremi Game Reserve and the floodplains around the Khwai River are famed for having excellent wildlife viewing year-round, and the Lodge can also arrange water and 4x4 game drives, depending on the water levels.

The lodge has 14 luxury tented rooms as well as one private suite. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, four-poster beds with mosquito netting and large wooden decks with chairs and a hammock, perfect for relaxing and game viewing. The lodge also has a 20-meter swimming pool as well as the option of Spa treatments (extra charge).

In addition to trips to the Game Reserve and around the floodplains, the Lodge also offers a variety of optional excursions and activities for guests to fully experience and engage with their surroundings. From learning the traditional way of weaving baskets to taking part in a star-gazing activity, guests at the Lodge are guaranteed a true experience of life on the Okavango Delta.
