Located in South Tyrol, Northern Italy, with a high, snow sure aspect at 4,593 - 9,114 ft above sea level, Alta Badia is a vast ski area with a privileged position offering direct access to the Sella Ronda Circuit.

Skiing is a matter of tradition in this part of the world. It's also a welcome challenge that circumnavigates 1200km of ski pistes across 12 resorts (with it taking a day to travel in either direction). When gliding down the slopes or enjoying the marvellous après ski during your Alta Badia ski holidays, you have the unique backdrop of the Dolomites Mountains to gaze out towards. The majestic limestone pillars of stone glow a romantic shade of pink when the sun sets, offering the perfect end to your day in wintry paradise.

Alta Badia's ski slopes are suited to all levels, from beginners to intermediate and advanced skiers. Families will especially love the ski kindergartens and play areas of the ski schools found in Colfosco, Corvara, La Villa and Badia, where children can try their first curves. The green slopes for beginners are very long, wide and flat. Paired with wonderful skiing conditions and plenty of sunshine year-round, you have everything you need for an exceptional time. In addition to that, there are high-ropes courses, recreational areas, zoos, swimming lakes, children's playing parks and museums located in the area.

You have access to the villages of Corvara, Colfosco, Badia, San Cassiano, La Villa and La Val as well. Following one of your exciting runs, head into town and discover its unique charm. There are plenty of fine dining establishments to discover, many offering hearty Italian cuisine - a true Dolce Vita! Choose from three Michelin star restaurants. Their expertise in crafting mouth-watering dishes is only matched by their warm hospitality and commitment to ensuring you have the best dining experience possible.

Alta Badia ski in ski out hotels are homely, cosy and equally luxurious while also allowing you to ski directly to the cable cars. The cross-linkage and vastness of the Alta Badia ski resort prevent queues from forming at the chair lifts. Not only that, but the modern ski lifts are designed to quickly transport you from hotel to slopes, so you begin your descent down the snowy mountain in a seamless and exciting fashion.

Snowboarders and freestyle skiers have their own area for practicing tricks at the terrain park at Piz Sorega. In addition, Fun Slope Biok in San Cassiano at Bioch No. 13 has lots of freestyle elements such as kickers, steep turns, rollercoasters and waves. It's a giant playground at an overall length of 900 metres.

Alta Badia ski season varies year in, year out. So, please speak with one of our Travel Specialists to start planning your adventure and experience some of the most ideal conditions for the perfect skiing pleasure.
