Before you set sail on your cruise across the Adriatic Sea, you’ll enjoy a two-night pre-cruise stay at Metropole Hotel Venice, set in the very heart of the city. After two days of exploring its winding streets and marvelling at its architecture frozen in time, you’ll board Seabourn Encore to begin your cruise.

Itinerary

After flying from the UK to Venice, spend two nights in the Metropole Hotel Venice, situated in the heart of the city. Spend your day exploring the gothic architecture and dense history of Venice either by foot or gondola and enjoy evenings dining in the hotel’s unique restaurants.
Today, you’ll head to the port to board Seabourn Encore. Spend the night at sea, travelling to your first port-of-call.
Vodice, Croatia
A town of historic charm and natural beauty, Vodice’s dates back to the Roman era, and is still home to remnants of the ancient civilisation. Spend your day soaking up the beautiful, red-tiled roofs of the town’s buildings, exploring historic churches that were built as early as 1298, and strolling along picturesque, pebbled beaches. Venture into the town of Sibenik to visit Krka National Park, or head to the enchanting peninsulas of Primosten, just half an hour from Vodice.
Kotor, Montenegro
Continue your journey of uncovering the past in Montenegro’s Kotor, where you’ll spend the day marvelling at its historical monuments, mountainous backdrops and the picture-perfect Gulf of Kotor. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kotor is one of the best-preserved medieval towns of the Adriatic, so take a step back in time and explore the historic St. Tryphon's Cathedral and Church of Our Lady of Remedy, or relax with a wine tasting excursion. At 3pm, the ship will depart to cruise the breathtaking Bay of Kotor.
Kerkira, Corfu
Today you’ll arrive in Corfu, where you can enjoy learning about the Greek Island that has inspired legendary writers throughout history, including Homer and Shakespeare. With an entire day on the coast of Greece at your fingertips, you can dive into an array of optional activities including exploring the rich history of Corfu Island by 4x4 vehicle, discovering the beauty of the mountains by mountain bike, or transferring by hydrofoil to the Albanian city of Saranda.
Sami, Cephalonia
Enjoy another day on the pristine Greek coast, this time immersing in the pleasant cultures of Cephalonia, home to plenty of cafes and tavernas, the caves of Drogarati, the shimmering Lake Melissani and the ruins of ancient Sami. You can also spend your day soaking up the sun on its beach that is so picturesque, it was used as a filming site of Hollywood’s movie Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.
As you sail the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea, you can discover the luxuries of Seabourn Encore. Start and end your day with a delicious meal from either the in-suite dining available around the clock or at one of the many incredible restaurants serving authentic cuisine from around the world. Relax with a revitalising spa treatment, lay by the poolside under the sun or have some fun at the casino.
Nafplion, Greece
Spend the day getting to know the unique cultures and traditions of Nafplion, the first modern capital of Greece. Explore the beautiful architecture of the neoclassical houses and buildings along the seafront streets. You can also choose to join one of the activities including a day spent exploring the ancient sites of Epidaurus, Mycenae and Atreus or cross the scenic Corinth Canal. Foodies can head to the local winery at Domaine Skouras for a tour, wine-tasting session and lunch.
Piraeus
Today, you’ll say your goodbyes to the Seabourn Encore and disembark in Athens, where you can explore the beautiful city and stay overnight at Grande Bretagne Hotel Athens. Located in the heart of the city, you can easily venture out to visit world-renowned sites including the Acropolis and dine in some of its finest restaurants.
After an incredible journey exploring the history of the Adriatic and Greek coasts, it’s time to be transferred to the airport and fly back to the UK.
