I'm here to tailor-make your perfect Caribbean holiday. Give me a call and I'll use my expertise to create your personalised experience.

Inspired by the hit BBC series Death in Paradise, which was filmed in beautiful Guadeloupe, this tailor-made holiday combines sightseeing related to the show and a range of adventures designed to help you get the best out of this spectacular location.

Guadeloupe is divided into two main islands, Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre. Both are a place of amazing natural beauty, rich in tropical flora and fauna with countless species of endemic wildlife found nowhere else on the planet. So, escape to this secluded paradise – Guadeloupe’s closest neighbours being Monserrat and Dominica – and discover a laid-back island hideaway waiting to be enjoyed.

Like all our suggested itineraries, this holiday can be completely customised and tailored to suit your preferences. Make it part of a Caribbean twin-centre and pair it with a few days on another island - or extend your adventure in Guadeloupe for even more excellent exploration.

Itinerary

Arrive in Guadeloupe, via Charles de Gaulle. You'll be privately transferred from the airport to Langley Resort Fort Royal.
Spend today exploring Basse-Terre however you like. You might choose to soak up some Caribbean sun on the beach, hike to the lush rainforest, spend an adventurous day swimming in waterfalls, or even trekking around the island's volcano
Spend today on a half-day, private guided tour of the locations used during the filming of the BBC's Death in Paradise. You'll visit recognisable landmarks around “Sainte Marie” including the police station, Catherine’s Bar and – during the filming season when it is constructed – the Inspector’s shack. During the excursion, you will also discover beautiful coastlines, highlands with magnificent views of Montserrat and Antigua and tropical forests and grasslands.
Set out today for a half-day, private guided tour deep in the rainforest of the Guadeloupe National Park on Basse-Terre. After a soft hiking trail, you'll be rewarded with jaw-dropping views of the Carbet Waterfalls. Then visit a family-run rum distillery where you will have the opportunity to pick up some souvenirs and enjoy a rum tasting (or two).
The next two days are free for you to explore. Our Travel Specialists will be happy to create an itinerary designed specifically for your interests. To make the most of Guadeloupe's tropical beauty, we recommend visiting the Botanical Garden at Deshaies.
Perhaps you'll choose to visit Grande-Terre. The island is renowned for its pristine perfect beaches, turquoise lagoons and surfing hotspots.
Spend the morning relaxing at your hotel before your private transfer back to the airport.
