With a bus stop just outside the entrance, it’s easy to explore the island should you wish to leave the plush setting of the resort. Inspiring Travel company also recommend this resort as a luxurious pit stop for guests en route to Praslin.

Guests can enjoy sea views from each of the 40 chalets; for an extra touch of luxury opt for one of the 12 chalets with a private plunge pool.

The spectacular white sand beach is the resort’s centre piece and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon soaking up the sun. Alternatively, relax in a beach cabana or enjoy outstanding Seychellois service poolside.

Ingredients for dining are sourced from the hotel’s family-owned farm, so delicious and organic meals are guaranteed.

Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism

Carana Beach partnered with Green Islands Foundation for an organised coastal clean up to commemorate the world clean up to help protect wildlife and the natural beauty of the beaches. Together, 15 volunteers removed 15 bags of litter and continue to promote sustainable operations. Carana Beach has an action plan to reduce waste, improve energy usage and promote the use of local products.

Carana Beach offers a range of spa treatments for you to indulge during your stay, and all of their products used a locally sourced. Plus, their dishes are made with local ingredients, taken from the organic farm on the Denis Private Island.

The resort has implemented a water system to recycle used water, as well as collect the rain water for guests and staff to use.
