Whisk yourself off to the silky soft, sun-kissed sands of the Caribbean on this 16-night cruise, from absorbing Barbados’ laid-back ambience to wandering around Grenada’s picturesque harbourside.

Begin with two nights in Bridgetown, where you might immerse yourself in the capital’s storied colonial past or simply unwind on a pristine beach after your flight. Your time here is entirely yours, curated by our Travel Specialists to reflect your personal tastes and interests.

Leave Barbados behind and step aboard Seabourn Ovation to set out on an island-hopping cruise crafted for the discerning traveller. Each day reveals a new facet of the Caribbean, from the chic yachting enclave of Rodney Bay in St Lucia to the unspoiled shores of Montserrat. In Antigua and St Kitts, history combines with the shoreline, while Virgin Gorda reveals striking natural beauty.

From here, the pace is yours to set. Wander as you please or opt for a thoughtfully guided experience; perhaps a rum tasting at a St Lucia distillery or time spent exploring Antigua’s historic dockyards. In St Martin and the British Virgin Islands, you’ll find a vibrant contrast—perfect for sailing, boutique shopping, or simply taking in those dreamy, sweeping island vistas.

Time at sea is just as considered. On board, indulge in a collection of exceptional dining venues, wellness sanctuaries and social spaces, all designed to fill your days with entertainment and joy.

As you journey south through Martinique, Bequia and Grenada, you’ll delve deeper into the region’s vibrant culture, rich heritage and authentic island life. Every detail ensures your experience remains smooth and elevated, culminating in a return to Barbados for your onward flight home.

Itinerary

Fly from the UK to Barbados, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for a two-night stay. The remainder of your time is yours to enjoy—whether that’s unwinding or exploring.
Transfer from your hotel to the port and step aboard Seabourn Ovation. Settle into your suite and acquaint yourself with the ship’s refined dining, inviting lounges and tranquil wellness spaces. As evening falls, depart Barbados and savour your first dinner on board as your journey begins.
Arrive in Rodney Bay, a quieter alternative to Castries. Explore the island your way, or join an optional experience like ‘St Marks & Rum Tasters Thrill’. You’ll take in jaw-dropping city views from Morne Fortune before visiting the historic St Marks plantation for a glimpse into its past. Wander through Marigot Bay, known for its film appearances and finish with a rum tasting at the distillery. Continue to Howelton Estate to watch a batik-making demonstration and browse artisanal products.
Enjoy a full day at sea, making the most of Seabourn Ovation’s exceptional amenities. Maintain your fitness routine or discover complimentary classes like yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi or TRX in the ocean-view gym and Motion Studio. Unwind in Seabourn Square with European-style coffee, pastries, gelato and concierge services, or retreat to The Spa at Seabourn for beauty treatments. The Sun Terrace, bars and restaurants—including Colonnade—ensure you get to relax and savour every moment.
Montserrat
Revel in the unspoiled beaches and lush hills of Little Bay, where you can swim, sunbathe or snorkel in crystalline waters. For a deeper exploration, opt for the ‘Rendezvous Bay Beach & Snorkel’ excursion—a guided boat ride along a coastline alive with vibrant coral reefs and tropical marine life.
Travel to St John’s, home to golden beaches, characterful villages and heritage sites. Perhaps drive through the countryside to Shirley Heights for engrossing views over Nelson’s Dockyard. The optional ‘Explore Scenic Antigua’ excursion is available for you to discover Block House Ruins, Shirley Heights and Nelson’s Dockyard, with its restored Georgian architecture, museums and galleries. Stroll the historic quayside and admire the elegant yachts moored along the waterfront.
Your next stop is Carambola Beach, with its golden sands, stylish beach clubs and water sports setting the tone for an easy, sun-soaked day. For a closer look at the island, the optional ‘Best of St Kitts’ experience takes you on a scenic drive through Basseterre to Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO-listed landmark with views of the coast. Continue to Romney Manor to explore the Caribelle Batik factory and its gardens, before pausing at Timothy Hill for views across Frigate Bay.
Today’s focus is Virgin Gorda, the third largest of the British Virgin Islands, where lush hillsides merge into soft, champagne-coloured shores. The optional ‘Virgin Gorda Panoramic Drive’ excursion offers a half-day open-sided safari through Spanish Town, winding up to Gorda Peak for dramatic views over Savannah Bay and along Millionaire’s Road to Copper Mine Point. Marvel at The Baths’ granite boulders, tide pools and rock arches, spot the elusive Virgin Gorda gecko and savour fruit punch at a scenic lookout.
Philipsburg, a lively Dutch port brimming with duty-free boutiques, resorts and leisure pursuits, is your next destination. For a taste of adventure, the optional ‘St Martin 12-Metre America’s Cup Regatta’ excursion lets you crew a multi-million-dollar yacht, working the sails or taking the helm under expert guidance. Feel the thrill of Caribbean yacht racing, then unwind with refreshments and a celebratory rum punch. There’s time, too, to browse the 12-Metre Regatta Boutique.
Soper’s Hole
Drop anchor at Soper’s Hole, a classic Caribbean harbour lined with colourful marinas, easy-going cafés and lively bars. Choose the optional ‘Scenic Island Discovery & Beach’ excursion for an open-air safari through Road Town and Fort Hill, with stops for photography and local insight. Pause at Cane Garden Bay to swim, relax on powdery sands or enjoy a refreshment at a local bar. Take in picture-perfect views of Anegada, the US Virgin Islands and the surrounding isles before retreating to Soper’s Hole.
Return to Carambola Beach, where sunbathing and water sports await. For a unique perspective, the optional ‘St Kitts Scenic Railway & Motorcoach Sightseeing’ excursion takes you along the northeastern coast through sugarcane fields and villages aboard the Caribbean’s first scenic railway. Take in views from the open-air deck and sample local delicacies before continuing by motorcoach along the southwestern coast, passing Brimstone Hill Fortress and other historic landmarks.
Savour a leisurely day at sea aboard Seabourn Ovation. As evening arrives, indulge in world-class dining and entertainment, from The Seabourn Six performances to The Restaurant, Sushi, The Colonnade and In-Suite Dining. Whichever you choose, you’re in for a full day of luxurious leisure.
Martinique
Discover Martinique from Les Trois-Îlets, perhaps starting at Pagerie Habitation, the childhood home of Joséphine, wife of Napoleon. Take time to explore its colonial past before following the coastal road towards Le François. You might also sample some of Martinique’s celebrated rum at a local distillery, or wander through botanical gardens rich with colour and life.
Experience Bequia from Port Elizabeth. There are opportunities for you to stroll along Belmont Walkway to cafés or wander to Princess Margaret Beach to bask in golden sands and turquoise waters. Discover local craftsmanship at the Sargeant Brothers Model Boat Shop or join the optional ‘Bequia Highlights Safari’ to visit Fort Hamilton, Firefly Estate Plantation and Mount Pleasant.
Explore St George’s, potentially with a panoramic drive that reveals colonial architecture, pastel-painted houses and verdant hillsides. You can also visit Fort Frederick atop Morne Jaloux Ridge for a glimpse into its history. Continue through Woburn and the Grand Anse Valley, passing St George’s University and Point Salines International Airport, with a pause for refreshments. Conclude at Quarantine Point, taking in far-ranging views of the peninsula before returning via Carenage Harbour.
Disembark Seabourn Ovation in Barbados and enjoy the final day at your hotel. Later, transfer for your overnight flight to the UK.
