The Lanesborough

Poised at the pinnacle of London’s league of historic five-star hotels, with one of the city’s best locations to match, expect butler service, a renowned spa and Michelin-star cuisine at the multi-award-winning Lanesborough Hotel.

Full accommodation information

Just around the corner from Knightsbridge and Belgravia, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Marble Arch, the National Gallery, Natural History Museum and Westminster Abbey - The Lanesborough could not be more at home in such an esteemed setting.

This, one of London’s finest classically designed, historic luxury hotels, is unashamedly stately and the standards here are simply second to none.

The Lanesborough Club and Spa, for instance, has won multiple honours including being named as England's Best Hotel Spa at the World Spa Awards, and London’s Best Spa too. Here you can vanish from the busy streets of London to a world of gold silk facials, hydrotherapy pools, mud baths and salt wraps, manicures and steam rooms followed up by a balanced gourmet meal in their nutritionally-focused restaurant.

Food

And speaking of fine food, your entire gastronomic journey at The Lanesborough will be elevated to new heights while here. As, within their five onsite eating and drinking haunts, The Lanesborough offers it all from exquisite Michelin-star cuisine at Céleste that must be seen (and tasted) to be believed, to pre-Castro cigars in the Garden Room, or one-off cognacs going back over 100 years at the Library Bar; it’s quite something.

Guestroom

Then, when evening comes, retire to your classical, individually designed guestroom or suite which transports you back to the building’s 18th-century heyday – a no expense spared rendition of delicately woven fabrics, plush embroidered carpets and antique furnishings throughout.

This is rounded off with the Lanesborough’s round the clock butler service for every guest, who’ll also help tailor your stay, the room, babysitting and meal plans if visiting London with children, making the hotel a great choice for families on their English holiday – on top of everything else.

Accommodation options at The Lanesborough are all individually adorned in their own particular style, with bespoke artworks, creature comforts and antique furnishings featuring from one room to the next. Every guestroom and suite also enjoys personal butler service and a marble-topped bathroom, plus plenty of modern amenities such as underfloor heating, smart room controls, a queen or king-size bed, complimentary movies and more. Families then also have interconnecting options and the higher categories offer separate lounge and dining areas, or multiple bedrooms in the top suites.

The main facilities to take note of at The Lanesborough are found at their award-winning Fitness Club and Spa, where the treatments range from relaxing gold silk facials to salt scrubs and full-body massage, on top of an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms, gym and personal trainers on-hand. You’ll also find a beauty salon and Harvey Nichols hairdressers here, plus concierge teams, butler service for every guest, chauffeurs and gifts/games for the kids.
