Full accommodation information

Beginning with the manor and estate itself, it’s impossible not to be impressed by the sweeping lawns and meandering driveway, cute stone bridge and main mansion’s solid 17th-century architecture upon arrival here.

This all sets the scene nicely, though the trickling stream and carefully positioned trees and shrubs will soon lead you to heritage-listed ornamental gardens too, adopting an unexpected – though perfectly executed – Japanese theme that also finds a way into EightyEight, one of Grantley Hall’s six onsite food and drink venues.

In fact, the contemporary cocktail bar and fusion restaurant of EightyEight is a great example of why Grantley Hall is such a special place ton venture to on your holiday in England. This combination of respecting the past while embracing the contemporary comforts, cuisine and exciting styles of an incredibly expansive modern-day five-star spa (which offers both a wellness sanctuary and a fitness centre) is exactly what Grantley Hall is about, and your stay here will be all the better for it.

Other gastronomic delights at Grantley Hall include Michelin Star Shaun Rankin’s stunning signature restaurant, a whisky nostalgic lounge and courtyard, late-night champagne bar and afternoon tea in the drawing-room, as well as private dining and healthy, balanced bites and juices from the wellness area.

There are many reasons to visit Grantley Hall but the hotel is certainly somewhere to enjoy the finer things in life, none more so than their Three Graces Spa, where a hydrotherapy pool, snow room and sauna, personal trainers and therapists will ensure that those fine dining dinners and the odd cocktail or two feel entirely guilt-free throughout your stay.

Guestrooms and suites at Grantley Hall are elegant, beautifully adorned and thoroughly sophisticated, though also nicely light and airy too thanks to their large windows and colour scheme of white marble, creams, chrome and watermelon green. Comfort amenities come aplenty, with robe and pillow menus, tea and coffee, audio systems, large TVs, air-con, plush king-size beds and both a standalone rolltop tub and separate rain shower coming as standard. The size of each space does go up quite quickly as you move through the room categories, with suites adding a lounge area and sofas to their huge floorplans, plus a range of garden and courtyard views.

Deluxe Room

Deluxe Room

The 38sq m Deluxe Room is far more than your average entry-level guestroom, offering all the comforts and design of a suite, just with a smaller floorplan.
Executive Room

Executive Room

The Executive Room is similar to the Deluxe, but has a little more space at 44sq m and an original fireplace in most, which is a lovely feature.
Junior Suite

Junior Suite

Junior Suites add a lounge space to their 58sq m floorplan, and also enjoy lovely views of the grounds.
Grand Suite

Grand Suite

66sq m Grand Suites boast some of the best views of the river, as well as their huge bathrooms, original fireplace and lounge.

Grantley Hall’s Three Graces Spa and wellness centre, indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy swimming pools, gym, steam and snow rooms, sauna and Spa Lounge – offering a mix of healthy bites and smoothies – are all major highlights of any stay. The facilities themselves are a dream, so too the personal specialists, trainers and therapists who’ll help design a programme just for you. This, added to the great concierge, multiple restaurants, bars and heavenly gardens help make Grantley Hall a self-contained resort in its own right.

Head to the Three Graces Spa for wellness, pampering and a little 'me time' - courtesy of a wide selection of treatments and an expert team - or visit the ELITE luxury gym to focus on your fitness.

Fletchers Restaurant

Fletchers Restaurant

Fletchers Restaurant is an intimate affair, and is either open to all guests or available to book for private family meals. The fine dining menu here focuses mainly on refined British classics, so think fresh fish perfectly seasoned, griddled in butter and served with the most delicious dash of sauce, or prime steak over seasonal purees and wine reduction; a decadent feast indeed.

Norton Bar and Courtyard

Norton Bar and Courtyard

A classy lounge bar bedecked in vintage Winchester sofas and velvet armchairs, a long line of whisky, cognacs, and outdoor patio too.

The beauty of booking a stay at Grantley Hall is being able to shut yourself away and do not very much at all, while here. Time is well spent wandering the expansive grounds and delicate flower gardens, treating yourself to a fine dining gourmet meal, though day trips to the Yorkshire Dales, Ripon, Harrogate and Fountains Abbey are also easily arranged.

The wellness offering here is incredibly extensive - so extensive in fact that it's divided into two separate areas. Three Graces Spa is where you'll find the treatment rooms, the thermal treatment areas and the pool. There's also ELITE, the executive gym and wellness area which houses the strength and conditioning area, gym and the health and performance area. Specialist equipment and facilities here include an underwater treadmill, a spin studio, altitude training facilities and a cryotherapy chamber.
