This luxury escape is part of the 400-acre Farncombe Estate alongside two other luxury hotels: The Fish and Foxhill Manor.

The hotel is set within a 17th century farmhouse, which was renovated by its Nordic owners to integrate the buildings heritage with the chic of contemporary Scandinavian design.

Throughout you’ll find ancient wood beam ceilings, roaring fires and stone floors that are paired with contemporary colours and fun modern prints, lending an interior that exudes relaxed, country glamour with a merry, characterful lilt.

Accommodations are rooms and suites that can be found within the main farmhouse or within a private cottage. Whether you are a couple, or a family there is a room option to suit you.

For couples, we especially recommend the Hot Tub Courtyard Suite, which boasts its own hot tub.

Though small, Dormy House offers plentiful dining options. Opt for fine dining at The Back Garden, the low-key easy-going fare at The Potting Shed or surprising creations at the new MO restaurant. As if that were not enough, there are also three private dining rooms and nooks that can be hired for more intimate occasions, and picnics can even be prepared for you to take the taste of Dormy House into the hills with you.
