A fabulous insight into the interior of fascinating and enchanting Sri Lanka. This private guided tour includes sights such as the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya, the Dambulla Cave Temple, and a visit to intoxicating spice gardens.

Beginning in the capital city of Colombo and ending on the golden shores of Habaraduwa, this 10-night itinerary is a fantastic introduction to the soulful South Asian country of Sri Lanka.

Embark on a Minneriya Safari in Dambulla and watch a centuries-old phenomenon as hundreds of elephants descend on the reservoir. Seek spiritual enlightenment in the city of Kandy by visiting a temple that houses the relic of Buddha’s tooth. And relax on the palm-fringed sands of Negombo beach.

Do Sri Lanka in complete style and comfort with handpicked accommodations in some of the loveliest hotels available. Stay in an ex-tea estate in Ellerton and dive into its infinity pool overlooking the dense jungle. Later, unwind in the colonial-style boutique hotel, KK beach, and gaze out over the Indian Ocean from your plush suite.

Great for adventurous couples and honeymooners, this tour can be tailored to suit you with the option of a beach extension at one of our favourite coastal hotels. Alternatively, we can offer beach extensions in the Maldives for an added touch of luxury.

The elephants migrate from time to time to nearby parks and therefore depending on where the elephants are at, at the time of your arrival, the trackers will take you to either Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Eco Park.
Sigiriya
After an early breakfast, climb UNESCO Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The ruins of the capital built by the parricidal King Kassapa I lie on the steep slopes and at the summit of a granite peak standing some 180m high (the 'Lion's Rock', which dominates the jungle from all sides).
