Renowned for its sensational location and signature warm Mauritian hospitality, the resort is in a prime spot for enjoying one of the finest beaches in the area.
With guests at this Beachcomber property enjoying the ultimate in privacy, space and serenity, surrounded by nature in one of the most magical spots on the island.
Facilities abound both on land and in the water at this resort, with water sports available to keep active guests more than entertained, including mountain biking, yoga, bocciball, beach volleyball, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, pedal boats, deep sea fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving. On land, there are 6 floodlit tennis courts and a state-of-the-art sports centre.
Younger guests aged 3-11 years will be delighted by the fantastic children's facilities on offer, from the Beachcomber Kids Club, it even has its own restaurant. Fun activities include glass-bottomed boat excursions, hand painting, sailing, small-line fishing, snorkelling, tennis and waterskiing, offered on an age-appropriate basis and of course expertly supervised by fully qualified staff. The Kids Club will be equipped with the latest in entertainment, including DVD, TV and CD player, a stash of fun indoor games and an extensive outdoor playground.
There is also a Teens Club for older children and babysitting is available to cater for all family requirements.
Whilst children are entertained parents can retreat to the fabulous 'Spa Beachcomber: The Art of Wellness' which consists of a string of individual thatched pavilions quietly tucked away amidst palm trees and exotic plants, centred around a tranquil pool. Each spa pavilion will blend outdoor space with the inside and guests can choose to enjoy their treatments either in the cool comfort of the air-conditioned interiors or commune with nature outdoors under the shade of the thatched roofs.
The spa is equipped with a Balneotherapy room and 17 massage cabins, including 6 double cabins and one dedicated to Shiatsu and Thai massage, as well as two saunas, two hammams and a hair and beauty salon for those finishing touches.

Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Trou aux Biches believes in protecting the planet and striving for a reduction in carbon emissions with 52 commitments. Their commitment to sustainability includes a promotion of employability for 300 youths in their hotels each year. 3,500 people have benefitted from this commitment so far. Plus, the resort is working towards an inclusion of small, local producers to assist in their food process.
To contribute to a cleaner, safer and more sustainable environment, the resort also has in place a green team committee. As well as training their staff on marine and reef conservation, the guests are also aware of their efforts to encourage engagement in cultural activities and their environmental initiatives.
Water efficiency is practiced in Trou aux Biches, using nearly 100% recycled wastewater for irrigation purposes. Favouring rainwater for harvesting systems and reduction of wastewater through automatic sensor faucets in all Artisan zones are just an insight to the efforts put into this commitment.
