Hotel information
With its outstanding service and a staff-to-guest ratio of three to one, it’s little wonder that discerning travellers return year after year.
Fresh, contemporary accommodation offers comfort and luxury, whilst the pristine beach setting is simply divine.
Guests can choose to arrive in ultimate style by helicopter and land at the hotels own helipad, before being shown to their sea-facing suite set in lush, tropical gardens, or the sumptuous Royal Suite with its private infinity pool and gazebo.
Whatever your tastes, there are a wealth of gastronomic delights to enjoy, including the La Goëlette restaurant with its silver service and Indian Ocean vistas.
Sportier visitors can take advantage of a wide range of onshore and offshore activities, while the Royal Palm Spa, 'Spa Beachcomber: The Art of Wellness', awaits those who wish to relax.
Younger guests are always welcome at the Royal Palm Kids Club, the “Ti Royal”, with its special menus and host of activities.
Activities & Entertainment
Savour international cuisine and local specialities at La Goélette, an exceptional gastronomic restaurant boasting bay views and immaculate service.
Head to Le Bar Plage for a sunset tipple before spending the rest of the evening enjoying musical entertainment at The Bar. Live music can be enjoyed every evening at Royal Palm, so you can rest assured that you’ll never be bored!
Spend your days lounging on the pristine sandy beach, or enjoying a massage in 'Spa Beachcomber: The Art of Wellness' – with a reiki cabin, a Thai massage cabin, two ayurvedic cabins, an algotherapy room with hammam, two rooms for body wraps, one balneotherapy room and much more, this spa will definitely make your dreams of rest and relaxation come true. After €1 million renovations, new additions to the spa include facial and body treatments from the French house of cosmetology, CODAGE.
As you’d expect from a luxury Mauritius resort, a wide range of watersports is also on offer, including windsurfing, kayaking and private boat excursions.
On land, the sports centre also boasts exceptional facilities – you’ll find a cardio room, a squash court, table tennis and three tennis courts, for example.
Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Royal Palm believes in protecting the planet and striving for a reduction in carbon emissions with 52 commitments. Their commitment to sustainability includes a promotion of employability for 300 youths in their hotels each year. 3,500 people have benefitted from this commitment so far. Plus, the resort is working towards an inclusion of small, local producers to assist in their food process.
To contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment, the resort also has in place a green team committee. As well as training their staff on marine and reef conservation, the guests are also aware of their efforts to encourage engagement in cultural activities and their environmental initiatives.
Water efficiency is practiced in Royal Palm, using nearly 100% recycled wastewater for irrigation purposes. Favouring rainwater for harvesting systems and reduction of wastewater through automatic sensor faucets in all Artisan zones are just an insight to the efforts put into this commitment.
