Embark on a 9-hour tour of Kangaroo Island, starting by travelling through some of the fire-affected landscapes of Kangaroo Island. During this introduction, you’ll learn about fire ecology and how the fire-affected landscapes recover following generous winter rains. Break for a scenic picnic lunch and enjoy the marinated poached chicken, fresh salads and cheeses paired with fine South Australian wine, beer, soft drinks and spring water. Then travel to and explore Flinders Chase National Park, home to the Remarkable Rocks. Perched impossibly on top of a granite dome emerging from the ocean, the natural sculpture is a must-see attraction while on Kangaroo Island. Not only that, but you’ll also discover Admirals Arch – a coastal grotto providing a haul out for a large colony of Long-nosed fur seals.
