Full accommodation information

Perched on the edge of Cheow Larn Lake on the Sok River, the floating tents of the Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp – sister-camp of the Elephant Hills Camp – are hidden away from the hustle and bustle of tourist beaches.
This camp is situated in the heart of Khao Sok National Park, under the watchful eye of towering limestone mountains.

Rainforest Camp’s Luxury Safari Tents are one of the world’s only floating tented camps. Each features an en-suite bathroom and electricity, powered by wind and solar energy and using responsible waste management.

Once you’ve gotten up close to the Asian elephants at Elephant Hills Camp, the Rainforest Camp allows you to explore the diverse flora and fauna that lie deep in the lush tropical rainforest that covers southern Thailand.
Kayak the Sok River directly from the front porch of your luxury tented river camp, take a morning dip in the calm waters of the lake or set off into the jungle in search of wild monkeys and vibrant birds before returning to spend the night in your floating abode and fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle inhabitants.

Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp is not suitable for children under the age of 7.
Luxury Floating Tents (10 Units)

Luxury Floating Tents (10 Units)

Sleeps: 2 Adults

Each Luxury Floating Tent comes with its own separate shower and toilet, a choice of either twin or double bed configurations and unlimited use of the designated kayak (one per tent). Each tent can sleep up to 2 adults. Each tent is connected by a walkway to the main pavilion where all meals are served and additional drinks can be purchased.
  • There are various 2, 3 and 4 day Elephant Hills packages to choose from. We recommend a combination of 1 night in Elephant Hills Camp followed by 1 night at the Rainforest Camp.
  • Keep a look out for wild elephant, wild boar, gibbons, deer, hornbill and eagles on your jungle trek and canoe safari
