Full accommodation information

Nestled amid tropical rainforest and terraced rice fields in Bali’s emerald interior, this brand-new resort offers tranquil rooms and pool villas, world-class restaurants and an award-winning Anantara spa. Beyond the resort, discover Hindu temples and cultural immersions at every turn.

Anantara’s third resort in Bali is set amid the traditional hillside village of Payangan overlooking two majestic mountains, Mount Agung and Mount Abang.

The 66 rooms and villas are calming havens of serenity inspired by local culture and traditions, while restaurants serve sustainable local and international cuisine utilising organic produce. Create unforgettable memories with the hotel’s ‘Dining by Design’ programme: private dinners enriched by a personal butler and chef. Choose from a collection of menus or design your own, then conclude your evening with a flower offering at the spirit house.

With self-care getaways on the rise, Anantara have ensured wellness enthusiasts are pampered at the adult-only pool and all-encompassing spa. Indulge with traditional Balinese spa treatments in single or couple’s treatment rooms, relax in the foot massage pods and explore the tranquil Indonesian jungle during a sound therapy session. Meanwhile, younger guests will be kept entertained at the dedicated kids’ and teens’ clubs, with engaging activities throughout the day. There’s also a dedicated family pool and guided tours with an expert naturalist to get to know your surroundings.

Beyond the resort, you’ll find the island’s top attractions on your doorstep, such as the Hanging Gardens, famed rice terraces and waterfalls, traditional markets, the Puri Saren Royal Palace and Bali’s famous Seminyak Beach. Meanwhile, Ubud is just ten kilometres away, well-known as the centre of Balinese art and culture and home to many of the region’s artisans.

All 66 guest rooms and villas infuse a timeless elegance and feature bathtub, rainmaker shower, private balcony with outdoor lounge, 55-inch Smart TV, sound system, complimentary Wi-Fi, individually controlled air conditioning and an electronic in-room safe for peace of mind. Guests also have the option of in-room dining and those staying in a villa enjoy attentive butler service.
