The Lion Sands Private Game Reserve boasts some of South Africa's best game viewing, home to Africa's Big Five, as well as a plethora of birdlife, plains game, mammals and insects which the lodges expert rangers will track and locate on your morning and late afternoon game drives. Each day starts with an early morning wake up call, tea and coffee will be served at your villas privacy hatch before you join the morning game drive in open top safari vehicle, each of which carries a maximum of six guests. On your return breakfast is served on the lower deck, feel free to retire to the privacy of your own villa, relax by one of the pools at the adjacent River Lodge or take a bush walk with one of the rangers or Hippo tour.
Lunch and afternoon tea are served at the lodge before your late afternoon game drive, you may return to the lodge for a fine dining experience, a sumptuous boma dinner or dine under the stars in the African bush.
