Itinerary

Day 1 | Private jet to Rovaniemi

Board your private jet for the flight to Rovaniemi. Relax on board an eight- or nine-seat aircraft, where a cabin attendant serves hot food and ensures you arrive refreshed and ready to explore. On arrival, your guide will meet you for a private transfer to Otava Lodge. Settle in with time to enjoy the sauna and outdoor hot tub before a welcome dinner prepared by your chef. Later, step outside in snowshoes to watch for the northern lights beneath the Arctic sky.

Day 2 | Snowshoe hike, snowmobiling & ice fishing

Today, why not head out on a snowshoe hike? Accompanied by your guide, you’ll venture out into the surrounding wilderness to connect with nature - listen to the snow creaking underfoot as you admire the scenic displays of frosted forests, swamps and fells. After a mini-snowmobile experience, take a rest beside the crackling fire with lunch in a Lappish hut, prepared by your chef. In the afternoon, perhaps enjoy some serene ice fishing before another excellent dinner. Take some time to soak in the hot tub and gaze up at the night sky.

Day 3 | Reindeer farm & Santa Claus

A magical day awaits today. Start with a visit to a reindeer farm to meet these gentle creatures and take a sleigh ride with them. Then, if you have little ones in tow, meet the ‘big man’ - Santa Claus - in his cosy cabin. After lunch back at the lodge, you’ll take a private guided tour of the breathtaking Snowhotel, crafted from snow and ice, and enjoy a drink at the Ice Bar. In the evening, return to your snowmobile for an exhilarating northern lights hunt through the dark forest.

Day 4 | Husky experience, horse riding & ice floating

This morning starts with a visit to a husky farm, where you’ll learn the history and cultural importance of sledding before boarding your own for an adventure. After a warming lunch by the fire, head back out to explore, this time on horseback. Follow your guide through the forest, letting the crisp air fill your lungs. Back at the lodge, unwind with a soothing sauna before a truly memorable evening experience. Wearing an insulated flotation suit, step into the frozen lake and float peacefully on the surface, gazing up at the vast Arctic sky.

Day 5 | Santa Claus Village & farewell

Before returning home, spend a morning at the enchanting Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi. Wander through the captivating streets, choose a souvenir from the charming boutique shops and visit Santa’s famed post office. When it’s time to say goodbye, your private transfer will take you back to the airport for your jet home.
