Itinerary
Day 1-2 | Athens
Settle in for two nights at The Dolli in a Deluxe Room. Sitting directly opposite the Acropolis, the restored 1925 mansion places you within moments of Plaka’s historic streets. Mornings bring uninterrupted views of the Parthenon, while evenings are best spent gazing across the city from the rooftop.
For a more in-depth perspective of Athens, choose a private morning visit to the Acropolis, followed by a wine tasting in Plaka. Over two hours, explore key sites including the Parthenon and Erechtheion with your guide, before continuing to a relaxed restaurant where carefully selected Greek wines are paired with local dishes.
Day 3-6 | Chania, Crete
For the next four nights, Domes Zeen Chania becomes your sanctuary in a Sapphire Pavilion with a private pool. Contemporary design and natural materials merge with landscaped gardens, all just steps from the beach. Spend your days drifting between your tranquil pool and the cocktail bar, or the shoreline, with Chania’s Old Town and Venetian harbour inviting you for evening discovery.
To see the coastline from a new perspective, set out on a private Axopar cruise to Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island. Glide across turquoise waters, swim in hidden coves and ascend to the Venetian fortress for sweeping island views, before returning to a gourmet lunch served on board.
Or, if you seek adventure, why not head out on a guided hike through Samaria Gorge in Crete’s White Mountains? Traverse ancient trails, dramatic cliffs and shaded woodlands, with the rare Cretan ibex—the Kri-Kri—occasionally making an appearance along your path.
Day 7-10 | Agios Nikolaos, Crete
Spend four nights at Phaea Blue in a Deluxe Bungalow Sea View, set high above the coastline. The resort’s stepped design leads down towards the beach, with each bungalow positioned to make the most of the outlook, many with private plunge pools. Interiors pair contemporary styling with carefully selected artwork, while generous verandas give you space to sit back and take in uninterrupted views across the sea.
Divide your days between the resort’s pools, the inviting beach and relaxed seaside living. You can venture to the nearby fishing village of Plaka or take a short boat ride to Spinalonga Island—an evocative archaeological site encircled by crystalline waters.
For a deeper exploration of Crete, you may opt for a guided journey to Knossos and Heraklion. Discover the Minoan palace linked to the myth of the Minotaur, before losing yourself in the city’s markets, sampling bougatsa and time-honoured Cretan pastries.
Alternatively, explore Spinalonga, Kritsa and Agios Nikolaos on a full-day excursion that weaves together island history, a traditional mountain village and the laid-back grace of a lakeside town.
