Full accommodation information

Set on the sun-kissed Kona-Kohala Coast, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is a rare beachfront escape on the quiet, western side of Hawaii’s Big Island. Soak up the tropical atmosphere across the beautifully designed rooms, suites and bungalows, each nestled among the tropical gardens with either ocean views or direct beach access. Decor is clearly inspired by an authentic sense of place, with native art and natural materials creating a laidback ambience.

The resort’s scale ensures there’s space for everyone. Couples can retreat to the spa, enjoy the beachfront bars, or book the romantic Pilina, a bespoke four-course dining experience, complete with flowers, Champagne and a private server. Or, there’s the exclusive Premium Palm Grove Nest, a secluded escape within the resort itself with an adult-only pool and just three ‘nest’ cabanas to relax in.

Families are equally well catered for: three private villas offer the perfect setting for multigenerational getaways, while dedicated kids’ pools, beach games, and thoughtful family amenities keep younger travellers entertained.

Dining is exceptional, with four onsite restaurants including the Beach Tree Barefoot Table, where you can enjoy dinner in the sand under the stars. Pools, a championship golf course, and Alakai Nui private boat charters add even more ways to relax, explore, and create memories.

Every room option, category, view and layout at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai has its own particular points of note, all being individual in their own right though with the high-end features you’d expect from a Four Seasons property. The décor, no matter which you choose, fuses subtle touches, such as the slatted patio doors and bamboo headboards framed by soft drapes, with beach-chic furnishings and locally-inspired touches, artworks and ornaments throughout.

All rooms come with a terrace or patio; full or partial ocean views; luxe walk-in rain showers; an espresso machine and water filters; one king-size or two double beds; Bose Bluetooth speakers and plenty more mod-cons. Some of the larger suites and villas also offer private pools and seafront Jacuzzis, huge outdoor spaces and separate living rooms – great for honeymooners and families.
