When you’re not gazing wistfully out the windows at evocative forests and snow-topped peaks, you might find yourself immersed in the hotel’s hot tub, or doing gentle laps in the indoor pool. There’s certainly no doubt at some point you’ll be trying out Haute French cuisine at Eden, one of just six five-diamond rated restaurants in Canada, or sampling the martinis at Larkspur Lounge – pick a seat by the fire, at the bar or next to the window for those ever-enchanting vistas.

While the Rimrock Resort Hotel has lashings of charm and reasons to stay put, the delights of Banff National Park beg to be explored, so don’t hesitate to embark on scenic excursions out into the wild – starting with Banff Upper Hot Springs, moments from your doorstep. There’s hiking, biking and golf to enjoy, plus the Banff Gondola is nearby, providing easy access to skiing and walking trails.

Room Options

Some 350 rooms and suites bring high-end sophistication to the Rockies, with their sumptuous furnishings and tasteful décor coupled with clean and comfortable spaces. There are a range of guestroom categories, from Standard to Penthouse with a variety of views available, all coming with mod-cons like widescreen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, Paul Mitchel toiletries and mini fridges, with suites flaunting living areas to relax in.

Standard Guestroom

The Standard category offers the choice of six room types, ranging from one queen-size bed to two king-size beds and a spacious suite, complete with separate living room. All feature partial views of the forest and the hotel building itself.

Premium Guestroom

Upgrading the quality of fixtures and finish, the Premium Guestroom varies in bed size (queen or king), quantity, and view – either looking out over Rundle Mountain, Mount Norquay or Spray Valley; some also boast a balcony.

Grandview Guestroom

These rooms offer sublime views of the Canadian Rockies through perfectly positioned windows, framing the stunning scenery outside. The Grandview Executive Room also includes a balcony looking out over Spray Valley.

Grandview Suite

A decadent space, the Grandview Suite enjoys yet more incredible views of the Rockies and comes with two bathrooms, plus the option for one king-size or two queen-size beds. The Grandsuite with Balcony features an outdoor space as well as a warming gas fireplace.

Signature Grandview

Ranging from 500 to 600sq ft in size, the three Signature Grandview guestrooms are opulently decorated in exquisite wood furnishings, plush drapes and large fireplaces, with expansive views of Bow Valley.

Suite Infinity

The ultimate in luxury mountain escapes, the Suite Infinity is bedecked in impressive features like a wraparound terrace with sun loungers, boasting uninterrupted mountain and valley views, gas fireplace, Bose speakers, king-size bed and sofa bed, living area, and decadent bathtub.
