Even at entry level expect: a private balcony or patio, a gas fireplace and comfy sitting area, a marble bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower, and views.

Resort View Room

Sleeps: 4 Adults

With views of the landscaped grounds and mountainside these rooms can either come furnished with a king bed, or two queens. Most are on the lower levels of the resort and all have a private terrace or balcony. A cosy sitting area and fireplace create a comfortable space to relax after a day’s skiing. Accessible rooms with a roll-in shower are available in this category.

Resort View Room with Fire Pit

Sleeps: 4 Adults

Most of these rooms are on the lower levels of Montage Deer Valley, with private terraces having a fire pit and views of the grounds and mountains. Inside they can have a king bed or two queen-size beds, and have a gas fireplace and large marble bathroom.

Vista View Room

Sleeps: 4 Adults

With stunning views of the mountains and trails from floor-to-ceiling windows and your own private terrace or balcony, these rooms can be furnished with either a king bed or two queen-size beds. Some Vista View Rooms can be connected, and all have a bathroom with heated floors and a deep-soak tub.

Vista View Room with Fire Pit

Sleeps: 4 Adults

Views of the mountains and trails can be enjoyed from the private, furnished terrace with its own fire pit which is the stand-out feature of this room. Inside a comfy seating area, king bed, large marble bathroom with heated floors and a cosy fireplace create a retreat from the wintry world outside.

Peak View Room

Sleeps: 3 Adults

Available with either a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, these rooms have the best views at the resort, overlooking the mountain trails and alpine valleys through floor-to-ceiling windows and from their private balcony. Accessible Peak View King Rooms have accessible features and dreamy panoramic views.

Resort View with Fire Pit Suite

Sleeps: 4 Adults

This plush suite with its views of the landscaped grounds can be interconnected for additional space. The highlight is certainly the private, furnished terrace with its fire pit, and the separate living area with fireplace, sofa-bed and dining table and chairs.

Vista View with Fire Pit Suite

Sleeps: 4 Adults

Get cosy next to your fire pit on your private furnished terrace with views of the mountains. The marble bathroom has a deep soak bathtub, heated floors and separate shower, and there is commissioned artwork adorning the walls in the large living space.

Resort View Junior Suite

Sleeps: 4 Adults

The large living area in this suite has a queen sofa bed and can accommodate a rollaway. Views of the resort are enjoyed from the balcony or patio, and the decor is a nod to the heritage of the region. A rollaway can be added for an extra child.

Resort View Suite

Sleeps: 4 Adults

These beautifully appointed rooms have a walk-in closet, separate living area, large bedroom with a king-size bed, marble bathroom with heated floors, and views of the grounds from the balcony or terrace. A queen-size sofa sleeper and a rollaway can accommodate three children in the living area.

Vista View Suite

Sleeps: 4 Adults

Views of the mountains are showcased through the picture windows and from the balcony or patio. Like its fellow suites the Vista View has a queen sofa bed and space for a rollaway in the large living area. Details include the Gloss Moderne by La Bottega bath amenities in the plush marble bathroom.

Peak View Suite

Sleeps: 3 Adults

Panoramic views of the mountain trails and alpine valleys are enjoyed from this suite’s private balcony or patio. Both the bedroom and living area have their own fireplace, and there is a dining table and chairs to enjoy room service with a view.

Alpine Residential Suite

Sleeps: 5 Adults

With its premier panoramic views, private balcony, two living areas, a gourmet kitchen with island, and an additional powder room, this spacious suite offers room aplenty in a space that feels distinctly of this region.

Empire Suite

Sleeps: 5 Adults

This suite feels like your own private apartment thanks to its superior space. Outside there are views of the ski slopes from the private balcony due to the positioning of these suites on the south side of the resort. Inside the extensive amenities include an open concept entertainment kitchen.

Flagstaff Suite

Sleeps: 4 Adults

Montage Deer Valley’s premier suite offers space and luxury in abundance. Views are of the Empire Mountain and there is a private furnished balcony from which to enjoy them. A separate office, fitness room and wet bar are additional features. And like all suites at this Park City resort there are fireplaces and cosy sofas to create a welcoming space post-ski.

Vista View One Bedroom Residences

Sleeps: 4 Adults

Views of the mountains and trails can be seen from the extensive terrace of this large residence, which inside has a gourmet kitchen, laundry facilities, five-fixture bathroom and a spacious living area with a fireplace and queen-size sofa bed.

Two Bedroom Residences

Sleeps: 7 Adults

These Residences can be booked with views of either the: Resort, Vista or Peak, and are located on the upper floors of the resort for a prime position regardless of which you pick. Some can sleep up to seven guests, all sleep six. They have the look and feel of a private home with their gourmet kitchen, cosy dining and living space.

Three Bedroom Residences

Sleeps: 9 Adults

On the upper floors of the resort, and all with private patios or balconies, these spacious accommodations can be booked with either views of the Resort, Vista or Peak. The facilities, including a kitchen, make it feel more like a private apartment, with two of the bedrooms having a king-size bed, the third two queens.

Four Bedroom Residences

Sleeps: 10 Adults

These palatial apartments are on the top floor of the resort with panoramic views of the Summit, Vista or Peak. As well as the four bedrooms there is a large balcony, fully-fitted kitchen and laundry facilities. The bedrooms are arranged as three king-size and one with bunk beds ideal for children. Some of the Four Bedroom Residences are set over two floors.

Like everything at the Montage Deer Valley, the restaurants focus on giving you variety and catering well for families. So there’s the option to have sushi and sake one night, burgers and beers the next. Grab a cuppa before you head to the slopes and a glass of Veuve on your way back. Children’s menus mean kids can join in with the experience, and mealtimes are made more special by the chance to sit beside a roaring fire or compete with a post-dinner family bowling match. 

Apex

The resort’s signature restaurant is stylish, considered one of Deer Valley’s best dining settings with its take on a modern American steakhouse. Exceptional cuts of meat are offered alongside sustainable seafood and a huge collection of global wines. As well as the refined menu there is a children’s menu with crowd-pleasers like chicken tenders and mac ’n’ cheese.

Burgers & Bourbon

Bringing together two of the USA’s favourite things, there are milkshakes, cocktails, wings, nachos and of course French fries to accompany the huge menu of gourmet burgers and craft spirits at Burgers & Bourbon. As with everything at Montage Deer Valley there is a family-friendly element – with kids picking from their own menu.

Daly’s Pub & Rec

Family-favourite Daly’s pitches itself as a gourmet pub, with an open kitchen serving pizzas and a bar with local microbrews. The children’s menu has pastas, burgers and American favourites like grilled cheese. And there are healthier options too; salmon and veggies for the kids, and market greens and cobb salads for the grown-ups.

The Après Lounge

This high-end, alpine-style champagne bar is directly behind the resort with access to three of the ski lifts. Pop in after a day on the slopes for a glass of Veuve Clicquot and a selection of gourmet small dishes, including caviar and charcuterie boards.

Yama Sushi

Enjoy a taste of Japan in Park City at this intimate, relaxed setting overlooking the Empire ski runs. Tuck into daily rolls, sashimi and seafood served with sake flight pairings and beers from Japan, or with a Japanese-inspired cocktail like the delicious Cherry Blossom.

Slope Stream

Unique Slope Stream is a converted Airstream serving up hearty fare to enjoy beside the outdoor fire, think: chilli, sandwiches, tacos and sweet treats including churros and apple empanadas. Quite often you’ll find live music beside the Slope Stream.

Vista Lounge

Take a seat here for some of the best views of Park City, with the atmosphere set by live music, a roaring fireplace and a menu of sharing dishes like fondue, charcuterie and rillette. Don’t miss the chocolate fondue for pudding.

Buzz

Get a caffeine kick before you head to the slopes at the resort’s in-house cafe with its fresh coffee brews and speciality teas, and where you can pick up picnic foods to take out.

Alpine Pool

The heated outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub at the resort are served by the Alpine Pool menu of burgers and light bites, cocktails and a children’s menu.

Skiing

If you’re an experienced skier then you’ll be bowled over by the snow and facilities around Montage Deer Valley. It’s exceptional for first-timers too, with ski schools and gentle slopes aplenty. The Wasatch Mountain terrain around the resort is for skiers only. Montage Deer Valley is ski-in-ski-out, giving access to 200 acres of skiable terrain from three high-speed chairlifts.
Snow here is pretty much guaranteed, with 300 inches of fresh powder annually and a reputation for “The Greatest Snow on Earth®”.
Ski schools and private tutorials ensure instruction for beginners and improvers, with plenty of wintry activities to mix up the skiing, like dog sledding and snowshoeing.
At the resort itself a Mountain Host and onsite outfitter – Compass Sports – arrange all the details from lift tickets to lessons. While the dedicated ski concierge sort the indulgent details, including warming your ski boots each morning and booking ski massages at the spa.

Spa & Wellness

Melt into the dreamy surrounds of the resort’s expansive 35,000-square-foot spa, an alpine oasis that offers a real contrast to the wintry experiences outside.
A vast menu of treatments specialises in Signature Elements of Wellness therapies, with deluge showers, an indoor lap pool, whirlpools, steam rooms and redwood saunas to enjoy before and after, as well as meditation areas around an open fire.
Both a salon and fitness facility are housed at Spa Montage, the latter with state-of-the-art equipment and a yoga studio.

Family Activities

Provision for children at Montage Deer Valley is exceptional, and one of the many reasons it’s one of Park City’s best hotels for families.
The children’s programme Paintbox is for guests aged five to 12-years-old, with games, movies and crafts. Paintbox kids are encouraged to get outdoors too, with the mountainside scavenger hunts a favourite activity. Children can collect badges for completing various tasks during their stay; being awarded a special badge if they conquer them all.
Activities the whole family can get involved in include horse-drawn sleigh rides, bowling and arcade games at the resort’s pub, family yoga and the nightly S’mores around the fire pit.
UPPAbaby® strollers can be reserved for free, and for a special bit of memory-making for young children there is the in-room Camping Experience.

Shopping

Take a break from the slopes and spend a day in the stores and boutiques of Park City, one of Utah’s best shopping spots.
Amble down Main Street for galleries and fashion shops housed in historic buildings. Or take the short transfer to the City Creek Center, home to Tiffany & Co and Hugo Boss. Here there’s a freshwater creek running through the middle of the walkway and kids love to watch the fountains’ hourly performance to music.
There are boutiques actually within the resort too, selling everything from the latest books to skiwear.
