During your stay, immerse yourself in Tokyo’s vibrant energy, where ancient temples and tranquil shrines meet futuristic skyscrapers. Explore iconic landmarks, savour exquisite sushi, and enjoy the sensory excitement of neon-lit streets.
After your stay in Tokyo, you’ll embark Silver Moon where you’ll begin your 10-night voyage through Japan and South Korea. Spend today at sea, where you can enjoy the luxuries of Silversea’s Silver Moon. Once you’re settled into your Suite, head to the Panorama Lounge to meet fellow travellers and enjoy a drink whilst you watch the world go by.
Spend two days in Osaka, Japan's lively and energetic city, renowned for its dazzling neon lights and larger-than-life atmosphere. Explore bustling Dotombori, where the canal reflects the glowing signs, and indulge in street food at the historic Kuromon Ichiba Market—savour takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and dare to try fresh pufferfish. Visit Osaka Castle, with its 16th century history and modern museum showcasing Japan’s heritage. Don’t miss the panoramic views from the observation deck. With nearby Kyoto’s temples just a short ride away, adventure continues beyond the city’s pulse.
Spend another day sailing the sea with a world of luxury at your doorstep. Totally rejuvenate after six days of exploring with a tempting treatment at the Zagara Beauty Spa, boasting a whirlpool, an acupuncture suite and endless sea views. End the day with a delicious local-inspired meal at S.A.L.T Kitchen, followed by a soothing drink at the S.A.L.T Bar.
A day for history lovers, spend a day in Hiroshima. Visit the UNESCO-listed Peace Memorial Park, dedicated to the victims of the 1945 bombing and promoting global peace. Explore the Peace Memorial and the Flame of Peace, which will burn until all nuclear weapons are destroyed. The Children’s Peace Monument honours Sadako Sasaki’s story, inspiring messages of resilience.
Fukuoka
Spend a day in Fukuoka, where history, culture, and nature blend seamlessly. Explore the Kyushu National Museum, try on traditional samurai costumes, and visit tranquil Zen gardens and historic castle ruins. Wander through the vibrant Hakata district, famous for gourmet food like tonkotsu ramen and vibrant shopping. Fukuoka’s unique blend of ancient traditions and modern conveniences, including excellent transport and green spaces, make it a city that feels both welcoming and full of life.
Busan
Venture away from Japan and into South Korea, where you’ll spend a day in the dynamic city of Busan. Visit the stunning Haedong Yonggung Temple perched on a cliff above the East Sea, and explore the colourful Gamcheon Culture Village, full of creative street art. Indulge in local flavours, from fiery bibimbap to fresh seafood, and relax on Haeundae Beach, framed by metallic skyscrapers, or stroll along Gwangalli Beach, with panoramic views of the illuminated Gwangan Bridge. Busan’s lively atmosphere and scenic landscapes offer a day full of adventure and relaxation.
Today you'll be sailing East across the Sea of Japan to Kanazawa. As you cruise, spend the day relaxing in the Arts Café and absorb the incredible exhibitions, and be sure to catch an evening theatre show in the Venetian Lounge.
Kanazawa
Step into one of Japan’s most elegant cultural cities as you arrive in Kanazawa. Stroll through Kenrokuen, celebrated as one of Japan’s finest landscape gardens, where winding paths, teahouses, and reflective ponds reveal centuries of careful design. In the Nagamachi district, preserved samurai residences offer an authentic glimpse into the city’s feudal past, while the Higashi Chaya teahouse quarter boasts traditional wooden façades and craft shops specialising in gold leaf. Kanazawa’s art scene shines too, with the contemporary works at the 21st Century Museum providing a striking contrast to the city’s heritage.
Enjoy a calm day at sea and take advantage of Silver Moon’s elegant dining and quiet spaces. Begin your morning with a relaxed breakfast at La Terrazza as you watch the open ocean drift by. As evening approaches, choose a refined setting such as Kaiseki for Japanese specialities or Silver Note for live Jazz, Blues and atmospheric dining.
Hakodate (Hokkaido)
Spend the day discovering Hakodate’s coastal charm. Begin in the atmospheric Motomachi district, shaped by its former European influences and home to hillside churches and leafy streets. Browse morning stalls at the lively Hakodate Market, where vendors showcase the fresh seafood Hokkaido is famous for. Ride the ropeway to the summit of Mount Hakodate for sweeping views across the city and bay, especially beautiful in the soft afternoon light. Hakodate’s mix of history, scenery, and excellent cuisine offers a relaxed yet rewarding day ashore.
Myako Iwate
Arrive on the tranquil shores of Miyako, a peaceful gateway to Japan’s northern coastline. Explore Jodogahama Beach with its striking white cliffs and calm, sheltered waters, or take a coastal boat trip to appreciate the dramatic rock formations of the Sanriku coast. In town, visit the Miyako Fish Market for a taste of the region’s prized seafood, from freshly grilled scallops to seasonal catches. Miyako’s natural beauty, quiet coves, and friendly atmosphere make it an ideal stop for those seeking a slower pace and scenic landscapes.
Spend today on the pool deck. Enjoy a relaxing swim and soak up the warm sun rays as you lounge on your sunbed with a refreshing drink. Plus, don't forget to indulge in some last-minute gift shopping in the onboard luxury boutique.
Tokyo
Disembark in Tokyo, ready to head to the airport and take your flight back to the UK.
