Begin your journey in Queenstown, where you’ll board the coach and cruise alongside Lake Wakatipu towards Te Anuai. Pause here for a short rest and to snap some photos of the panoramic views over the mountains. Then, once you arrive at Milford Sound, board your vessel for the incredible nature cruise. This two-hour cruise covers the full length of Milford Sound, exploring the stream of sheer mountains and soaring clifftops, surrounded by rushing waterfalls and gleaming glacial lakes.
As you move along the fiord, keep watch for seals, dolphins and penguins. You can pre-order a tasty lunch to enjoy on board and enjoy complimentary tea and coffee throughout the journey. Once you’ve explored the fiord in full, return to Queenstown by coach and soak in the passing views once again. Elevate your experience and return to Queenstown or Te Anau by helicopter or fixed wing aircraft flights are available to Queenstown.
