Led by knowledgeable Kuku Yalanji guides, the day offers a rare opportunity to learn about Aboriginal culture, history, and connection to Country directly from the Traditional Custodians. As you move through lush lowland rainforest, coastal landscapes, and scenic habitats, stories are shared that explain how the Kuku Yalanji people have lived with, cared for, and sustainably used these environments for generations. The rainforest walks are interpretive and unhurried, allowing time to absorb the sights, sounds, and stories of one of the world’s oldest surviving tropical rainforests.
