Hotel information
Just one minute from Kanazawa train station sits the tallest hotel in Japan’s Hokuriku region. With some 30 storeys, Hotel Nikko Kanazawa makes its presence known on the city skyline and offers some fantastic views from its top-floor bar, The Grand Chariot.
Perched on the 30th floor you’ll find the excellent European restaurant, La Plage, whilst just one flight down there’s Chinese cuisine at Toh-Lee and Teppanyaki with a view at Icho. Elsewhere, there’s traditional Japanese dining at Benkay and a variety of mouth-watering options on offer at the hotel’s buffet restaurant, Garden House.
For a nightcap with a view, head to the Sky Lounge, where you can enjoy your drink accompanied by live piano (cover charge applies after 8.30pm).
All rooms are well-appointed with all essential amenities provided, but for more space and extra touches of luxury ask your Destination Expert about booking a Deluxe Room on the hotel’s Luxe floors. Located on the 24th to 26th storeys, these rooms also possess some of the most spectacular views. Four Stylish rooms can interconnect, so are perfect for families travelling together.
As well as being located right next to the train station, the hotel is also conveniently placed for exploring plenty of the area’s attractions. Highlights including the beautiful Kenroku-en Garden and the magnificent Kanazawa Castle are around 10 minutes away by bus, while the remarkable Myoruji Temple, also known as the Ninja Temple, is under four kilometres away.
