Hotel information
Aqua Blu is your gateway to Eastern Indonesia, a five-deck, 60-metre explorer yacht where days filled with adventure combine with time spent cruising in understated luxury.
Once a British Naval Explorer, the vessel was reimagined in 2019 by Dutch designer Cor D. Rover, who brought together light ivory and brass accents with expansive social spaces. There are only 15 suites for up to 30 people, perfect for couples or solo travellers seeking a relaxed, private atmosphere.
Permanently based in East Indonesia, the ship unlocks a new perspective on the region’s most remote islands. You can choose from 22 bespoke itineraries across four destinations, with journeys ranging from seven to 21 nights. Each voyage balances adventure—think trekking through Komodo National Park or diving in Raja Ampat’s legendary reefs—with restorative moments on deck. Along the way, you’ll encounter vibrant cultures, rare wildlife and dramatic scenery.
On board, you’ll find social spaces designed for connection, as well as private retreats for moments of indulgence. Sip evening cocktails in the Sky Lounge Bar as the sun sets over the ocean or unwind in the Jacuzzi and Spa on the Bridge Deck after a day of adventure. If you need a little more space, the Cat I suites offer extra comfort and sweeping views, so you can savour each moment.
Whether you crave adventure, a serene escape on the water or a mix of both, Aqua Blu offers you a fresh perspective on East Indonesia. Here, understated luxury and thoughtful design set the stage for a voyage that’s as much about discovery as it is about the pleasure of the journey itself.
Room Options
Choose from 15 individually designed suites across three categories, each accommodating up to two people. Dutch designer Cor D. Rover has created spaces that merge contemporary luxury with comfort, giving you a private sanctuary at sea—your perfect retreat after days spent exploring the islands.
Cat I Cabin
Cat I is the largest suite on board, offering a king or twin bed and a spacious layout with a sofa bed. Expansive windows frame shimmering ocean views, while the generous proportions mean you get to relax in comfort. Located across several decks, these suites are ideal if you’re planning a longer stay.
Cat II Cabin
Cat II suites come with a king or twin bed, and select suites feature a sofa bed. Large windows let in natural light and offer ever-changing views of the sea. Located on the Main, Forecastle and Bridge Decks, you’ll enjoy easy access to social spaces before retreating to your private haven.
Cat III Cabin
Cat III can be found on the Main and Lower Decks, providing twin beds in a smart, efficient layout. Porthole windows offer glimpses of the ocean beyond. While more compact, these suites are designed for comfort and practicality—perfect if you’re travelling solo or prioritising adventure.Facilities/Amenities
- All-inclusive
- Interconnecting rooms: Cabin 401 (Cat II) and Cabin 402 (Cat I) on the Bridge Deck
