The perfect option for a remote beach destination off the coast of Africa, &Beyond Benguerra Island combines tropical chic with an African feel, whist still maintaining the island’s Portuguese influence in their 10 luxury Casinhas, 2 Cabanas and Casa Familia rooms.

All rooms are en suite and have four poster beds with mosquito netting, air-conditioning, indoor and outdoor showers, plunge pools and complimentary Wifi.

The wildlife here is incredible with the chance of seeing the endangered Dugong (cannot be guaranteed). Other activities include scuba diving, snorkelling trips, dhow cruises, sea kayaking, horse riding, bird watching and local community tours.
