Delve into the highlights of Croatia and Montenegro on this expertly curated holiday, carefully tailored to showcase the highlights of this sun-soaked region. Covering key stops such as Pula, Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik and Portonovi, you'll get to know the food, landscapes and cultures that make these Balkan beauties so irresistible.

Over two weeks, you’ll travel from Istria’s quiet hilltop towns to the fjord-like beauty of Boka Bay, combining private touring, exceptional cuisine and stays at luxurious hotels. Along the way, explore two of Croatia’s UNESCO-listed National Parks, cruise the Adriatic on private boat trips, and uncover ancient sites with expert guides. In Split, you’ll join a professional archaeologist at the Salona excavation site, while in Gata you’ll be introduced to soparnik, a traditional dish rarely seen on menus. There’s also time to unwind at a forest lodge on the coast, sample wines in Istria, and join local families for cooking classes and truffle tastings.

End your journey in Portonovi, Montenegro, where a One&Only resort offers a peaceful base from which to explore the dramatic landscapes and elegant towns of Boka Bay by private boat.

If you’re looking to experience the Adriatic in style, this is the way to do it.

Itinerary

Arrive into Pula Airport and take a private transfer to the elegant Meneghetti Wine Hotel. Over the next few days, you'll explore the Roman amphitheatre in Pula and the former fishermen's village of Rovinj, and enjoy a private olive oil tasting at a historic mill with a local family. You’ll also take a private tour of the inland, stopping in Buzet for a truffle hunt and tasting with local experts, before discovering the medieval hilltop village of Groznjan with its quirky galleries and studios.
Plitvice
Travel east to the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, meet your guide for a private walking tour. Follow the wooden walkways through dense woodland and around clear turquoise lakes - a fairlytale-like setting. Later, retreat to Fenomen Plitvice, a peaceful resort set in the heart of the park, where you’ll spend the evening at your leisure.
Split
En route to Split, pause for a guided tour of Krka Waterfalls National Park. Enjoy lunch overlooking the falls before taking a boat ride to admire to gushing water up close. Continue south to Split, and check-in to Fermani Hotel for three nights.
Split
Enjoy two days to explore stunning Split. First up is a private tour of Salona, where you’ll join a professional archaeologist for a hands-on dig at this fascinating Roman site. Back in Split, explore Diocletian’s Palace and its vibrant surrounding squares, markets and seafront promenade with a walking tour. The following day, head into the countryside for horseback riding in Sinj, a visit to the Alka Museum, and a traditional cooking class with a local family in Gata.
Hvar
Depart Split by private motorboat and cruise through the sapphire waters of the Pakleni Islands. Stop to swim and enjoy a leisurely seaside lunch before hopping over to Hvar town for the afternoon. When you're finished, continue on to Maslina Resort near Stari Grad for two nights of beachside relaxation.
Stari Grad
Spend the day at your leisure, making the most of the resort’s peaceful setting, spa and natural surroundings.
Meet your skipper and cruise to Dubrovnik, stopping en route in Korcula for a guided tour of its medieval old town. On arrival in Dubrovnik, check-in to your luxury seafront hotel, Villa Dubrovnik, and enjoy a restful night's sleep.
Dubrovnik
Today, discover the city’s UNESCO-listed Old Town with a private guide, wandering from baroque palaces to vibrant local markets. Later, take a private boat trip to nearby Lokrum Island to explore its lush gardens, monastery ruins and tranquil coastal paths. Head back to your hotel for a final night in Dubrovnik.
Portonovi
Accompanied by a guide, you'll be driven through the green valleys of Konavle to Cavtat and Cilipi, where you'll enjoy a private cooking class with a local family, learning to prepare the traditional peka dish. Then cross into Montenegro and check-in at One&Only Portonovi, your luxury resort set on the shores of Boka Bay for three nights.
Portonovi
Spend two days relaxing at your hotel and exploring your beautiful surroundings. On your first day, you'll be taken on a private boat trip across Boka Bay to Perast and Kotor, including a visit to Our Lady of the Rock. Stop for lunch on a scenic restaurant terrace in the sun, before cruising back to your hotel for the night. For your final day, take the time to relax, perhaps unwinding on the beach or at the renowned Chenot Espace Spa.
Staying at   One&Only Portonovi
Tivat
After a relaxed breakfast, meet your driver for a private transfer to Tivat Airport for your return flight. Reflect on two unforgettable weeks exploring Croatia and Montenegro, where ancient cities, natural beauty and exceptional hospitality came together in a perfectly curated journey.
