With time at leisure, you may choose to explore the revitalised waterfront, visit world-class galleries or dine at one of the city’s acclaimed restaurants. This cosmopolitan city offers an engaging introduction to Eastern Canada before your journey continues.
Niagara Falls
Today, an included excursion takes you to Niagara Falls, where you’ll experience the sheer scale of this natural landmark. Continue to the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, known for its heritage charm, 19th-century buildings and wineries.
Montreal
Travel by rail to Montreal for a two-night stay. Blending European character with contemporary culture, the city invites you to wander cobbled streets in Old Montreal, admire striking architecture and sample its renowned culinary scene. You’ll have time to explore at your own pace before transferring to the port to embark on your cruise.
Transfer to the port and step aboard Silver Shadow for your 11-night all-inclusive voyage. Settle into your Classic Veranda suite and explore the ship’s refined surroundings. As you sail the St. Lawrence River, enjoy your first evening on board, with impeccable service and exceptional dining setting the tone for your journey.
Québec City
Arrive in Quebec City, one of North America's oldest cities, where fortified walls, elegant squares and French-Canadian heritage create a distinctive atmosphere. Stroll the historic old town, visit landmark sites such as the famous Château Frontenac and Place Royale or enjoy refined local cuisine overlooking the river.
Two days at sea allow you to fully embrace life on board this majestic ship. You might unwind in the spa, start your day with a workout at the fitness centre or simply relax on deck as the coastline unfolds. Evenings bring fine dining and curated wines, delivered with signature personalised service.
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
Charlottetown, the birthplace of Canada, welcomes you with gentle landscapes and a rich maritime heritage. You can explore the rolling countryside, try fresh seafood or learn about the island’s history at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. Life moves at a relaxed pace here, giving you a true taste of Atlantic Canada.
A further day at sea invites you to enjoy the ship at your own pace. Whether you prefer quiet time with ocean views or conversation over afternoon tea, the experience remains entirely yours. These relaxed moments are part of the journey’s appeal.
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Halifax combines seafaring heritage with contemporary energy. You may choose to explore the historic waterfront, visit Peggy’s Cove lighthouse or learn about the region’s maritime past. Its coastal setting and independent spirit offer a compelling introduction to Nova Scotia.

With the East Coast’s celebrated fall foliage in full colour, it’s an especially rewarding time to explore the region’s iconic lighthouses and rugged Atlantic coastline.
Newport, Rhode Island
Start your day with a scenic trip through the Cape Cod Canal, giving you a unique view of coastal Massachusetts. The canal has two fixed bridges that can be a challenge for larger ships, but Silversea’s smaller ships pass through with ease. Later, you’ll arrive in Newport, known for its impressive Gilded Age mansions and sailing history. You can tour historic estates or spend time along the elegant waterfront.
New York
Disembark in Bayonne, New Jersey, to conclude your cruise through Canada and New England. From here, transfer to your hotel in New York for a one-night stay.
