Hotel information
As the name suggests, this resort is built around a perfect crescent-shaped sandy beach and is one of the Caribbean's longest established and much-loved resorts.
With a boutique atmosphere, its low-rise white-washed Georgian-style villas and cottages are dotted through beautifully landscaped gardens, spread over 400 acres and set upon two miles of pristine beachfront.
Accommodation ranges from spacious rooms to five, six and seven-bedroom villas, which benefit from a private butler, housekeeper and chef. Rooms at Half Moon offer either a patio or balcony for enjoying views over the landscaped gardens and sparkling sea. All accommodation is close to the beach and is within walking distance or cycling distance of all the resort’s amenities.
Many of the cottages and all villas in the resort feature a private pool.
As well as all the facilities you'd expect, there are a few that you wouldn't, such as the equestrian centre with its own show jumping and dressage arenas.
However, if that all sounds too energetic, you can always relax in the resort's enormous Fern Tree Spa, or take a dip in the family-friendly Hibiscus Pool or take to the Olympic Lap Pool.
Dining is a leisurely activity too, at each of the three restaurants. From the uninterrupted views out over the coast to yoga at sunrise in an overwater bungalow; from relaxing on the golden beach to enjoying a round of golf – time spent at Half Moon is perfectly relaxing. There's also a children's village, with planned activities for 3 - 12-year-olds, meaning that you can take time for yourself, whilst your little ones have the times of their lives.
