Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism

Rosewood Baha Mar is committed to supporting its surrounding environment through sustainable efforts. In partnership with BREEF - a coral reef conservation charity, the resort educates visitors on preserving marine life and the coral reefs. Guests can go on a snorkelling adventure to learn about the coral and plant their own adopted coral fragment. This helps preserve and restore the reefs.

Guests can also choose to donate to a charity called CHOOOSE, which is supported by Rosewood Baha Mar. This reduces their carbon footprint by funding CHOOOSE’s climate-action tools. This is in addition to their partnership with VERO WATER, whereby the resort no longer uses single use plastic and has installed refillable water stations for guests across the resort.
