A luxurious, environmentally sensitive resort and spa, Wolgan Valley is built around a fully restored homestead and set within a 7,000 acre wildlife conservancy in the picturesque Greater Blue Mountains region.
Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive from Sydney.
There is a choice of two routes; the more popular is via the pretty town of Katoomba, with several viewpoints and attractions along the way, such as the spectacular Wentworth Falls. Visit the quaint town of Leura with its pavement cafes and antique shops and take in spectacular views of Jamison Valley and the Three Sisters rock formations from Echo Point.
An alternative route is via Mount Tomah, where you can stop and wander through the stunning Blue Mountains Botanic Garden.
There are 40 ultra-luxe freestanding villas at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley, surrounded by steep and dramatic cliffs – the setting is awe-inspiring. Each villa, reminiscent of traditional homesteads, is built of wood and natural stone sourced within the local region. Lavishly appointed, each villa features a private pool, polished wooden floors and double-sided fireplace. The three Wollemi Villas have two bedrooms, each with their own private veranda and spacious central living and dining room that leads out to your private deck and enclosed villa pool.
In addition to your own private villa pool, the resort features a main pool complete with sun loungers and Jacuzzi set adjacent to the main homestead. The gymnasium is equipped with state-of-the-art fitness facilities and separate men’s and women’s steam room and sauna. The One&Only Spa is positioned so you can enjoy majestic valley views from its six treatment rooms while indulging in restorative treatments and resting in the relaxation room.
The dining experience at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is exquisite, with breakfast and dinner served in the Main Homestead’s elegantly refined Wolgan Dining Room with its lofty, timber-framed ceilings and polished wooden floors. Casual lunches are served at the Country Kitchen, while in the summer months gourmet picnics of antipasto, freshly made sandwiches and cheese platters can be enjoyed in your own secluded spot of this vast wilderness.

It may be difficult to tear yourself away from the luxury of your villa and pool, but a stay at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is as much about exploring the vast unspoilt wilderness through a range of inclusive and signature activities as it is relaxing in your private sanctuary.
The resort is set within 7,000 acres of pristine wilderness and wildlife reserve, between two majestic national parks. Wollemi National Park and the Gardens of Stone National Park are in the north-westerly part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage-listed Area. It is claimed that the only wild living specimens of Wollemi Pine are found in Wollemi National Park, while the Gardens of Stone National Park feature unusual sandstone pagoda formations and spectacular canyons.
Spend time in the stables and meet Wolgan Valley’s horses or take a nature walk with a knowledgeable guide and learn about the valley’s native flora and fauna. There are several other Signature experiences you can arrange on a shared or private basis for an additional charge, such as spending an evening around a campfire, stargazing or taking a 4WD adventure after dark in search of nocturnal wildlife. Explore this vast wilderness on a guided mountain bike adventure or access some of the more remote areas on a half-day horseback ride.
