From Venice to Verona, create unforgettable memories.

In Venice, the serene Doge’s Palace invites you to explore its incredible artistic gems before leading you to world-renowned museums on an extensive guided walk. The lighting ceremony inside St. Mark’s Basilica is unmissable while the magnificent overhead domes are sheathed in marvellous mosaics. Admire the intricate artwork on display and soak in glorious views everywhere you turn.

Following the luxury river cruise, you’ll disembark the ship and take a highspeed Frecciarossa train to Verona for the next five nights. Between Gargnano and Malcesine, relax at both sides of the picturesque Lake Garda and hike up Mount Garda to admire stunning panoramic views. Explore Verona’s romantic charm from Juliette’s house to the ancient Arena di Verona and bustling piazzas.

Itinerary

Arrive at Venice Marco Polo International Airport and transfer to the S.S. La Venezia. After unpacking, relax and enjoy your first evening on the Venetian Lagoon.
Visit the marvellous Doge’s Palace and take a leisurely stroll through the Venetian neighbourhood. Tranquillity comes to mind as the district is pedestrian-only, and you can follow in the footsteps of convicted prisoners across the Bridge of Sighs. In the evening, experience a once-in-a-lifetime after-hours lighting ceremony inside St. Mark’s Basilica without the crowds for a private excursion.
Explore Vicenza for its incredible shopping and architecture or Padua for its delicious eateries and extensive guided tours. Following your trip, reboard the ship and set sail across the lagoon to Mazzorbo and Burano. Enjoy a special Captain’s Welcome Reception and Dinner in the evening and return to your luxury suite to round off a magnificent day.
Traverse captivating Venetian islands and discover stunning churches across the northern lagoon. Torcello’s famous basilica is worth a visit during your journey, and you can stroll through the agricultural paradise of Mazzorbo for a relaxing afternoon. The master glassblowing artisans of Murano also offer workshops which you can take part in to see how their art pieces are made.
A Venetian Lagoon fishing village founded in the fifth century, Chioggia is a charming coastal destination that guarantees awe-inspiring experiences. Shop at the spectacular Chioggia Market for new clothes, bike along sandy beaches or absorb the island’s atmosphere via the clear blue lagoon. Guided by a sommelier, you can also learn the intricate history of winemaking in the Veneto region.
Sail to Po Delta where the Po River and Adriatic Sea meet. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views on top of incredible Mediterranean weather and the chance to learn about the basics of sailing. Alternatively, you can go on a guided tour of Castello del Catajo – a beautiful resort which was formerly a palace. The gorgeous gardens and frescoed walls are two key highlights worth visiting.
Once you return to Venice, join up with a local guide and become familiar with the sights and sounds of this astonishing floating city. Visit a mask atelier in town to discover how costumes for the Carnival of Venice are made and enjoy a shopping trip to the Le Mercerie district. In the evening, return to the S.S. La Venezia for a special Captain’s Welcome Reception and Dinner.
Disembark the ship and continue your adventure from Venice to Verona and Lake Garda.
Following your Jewels of Veneto tour, take a highspeed Frecciarossa train to Verona. Spend two nights at NH Collection Palazzo Verona in a premium double room with breakfast and explore the romantic city at your own pace. Centro Storico features wide open piazzas, magnificent church buildings and Juliette’s house where you can shop for jewellery and clothes at various boutiques.
On your second day in Verona, tour the intricately preserved Arena di Verona. Built in 30 AD, the stadium is incredibly still in use today, hosting internationally famous opera performances for thousands of spectators every year. Meet wine experts for a tour of the region’s finest wineries or appreciate the fine art on display at the Museums and Art Exhibitions of Verona.
Spend the next three nights at the luxury Lefay Resort & SPA Lago Di Garda in a Prestige Junior Suite with breakfast. Located in the heart of the spectacular Riviera dei Limoni, the hotel features a park surrounded by lush hills and natural terraces. Discover the picturesque port of Gargnano via scenic boat ride and visit Italy’s highest rated amusement park – Gardaland.
In the morning, take a free shuttle to Gargnano and a public ferry to Malcesine. Here, you can enjoy an explorative walking tour of the commune and marvel at Scaliger Castle – a medieval fort built on an ancient fortress. After taking a cable car to the summit of Mount Baldo and admiring breathtaking views, enjoy another guided walk and return to Malcesine by cable car.
For the final stop on your 12-night journey, visit Piazza Bra – Verona’s public square home to the most sumptuous Italian cuisine in the city. Following your gastro excursion, why not take a trip to Torre dei Lamberti and absorb the phenomenal views at the very top? Finish off your relaxing escape by returning to Lefay Resort & SPA Lago Di Garda and enjoying the views overlooking Lake Garda.
Take a train and private transfer to Venice airport before departing back to the UK.
